False Prophetess Jennifer Leclaire Rebukes Comedian John Oliver

By       (Page 2 of 2 pages)   1 comment

"I do believe in supernatural debt cancelation. And I don't believe we should mock so-called prosperity preachers, even if we don't believe they hear from God."

Supernatural debt cancelation? What the heck is that? What Bible verse supports such nonsense? None. Do not go to the year of Jubilee either because there was nothing supernatural about that and it occurred once every fifty years. You do not get to create whole doctrine out of things you read into the text. Supernatural debt cancelation is a hallmark scam used by prosperity preachers and televangelists. Murdoch, Copeland, Tilton, and Dollar have all used the term. It is used to sucker unsuspecting people into sending money to the huckster as a show of "faith" and to sow a "seed" in return for God miraculously canceling your debt. One of the Murdoch clips that Oliver used showed him actually telling people that if they were facing a mountain of debt that they needed to sow a $1000 through their credit card to him for a supernatural debt cancelation! Murdoch mockingly said, "That $1000 isn't going to pay off your debt anyway!" Simply disgusting.

Perhaps the more disturbing comment however is the second portion here. So according to false prophetess Jennifer Leclaire, we should not mock prosperity preachers regardless of if we even know they are not hearing from God? Seriously? So the sensibilities of the false teacher are more important than the sheep they are slaughtering? What planet is Leclaire on? Oh and in case you were wondering about mocking, read the key verse today. The Prophet Elijah was not dealing with only a handful of false prophets this day. He was dealing with 450 of them. Was he concerned about not being seen as mocking them? No! He not only mocked them but he mocked their false god. He said that maybe he was not answering them because he was relieving himself in the bathroom! The Bible actually instructs those called to leadership in the church to openly rebuke those who are false. It is the sheep that matter! Back to Leclaire:

"Oliver used some extreme examples -- and some of them were so far out of context that they manipulated reality. He also sought out people who were hurt because they didn't get the miracle they believed for when they sowed in the Copeland's ministry. But I never heard Kenneth of Gloria Copeland promise anyone that if they sowed enough money God would heal them."

Oliver did not use extreme examples. He used the mainstream prosperity preaching examples. Showing the 6.5 million dollar mansion Copeland lives in for free due to the "parsonage rules" within the IRS is a fact. It is not an outlier either. Murdoch, Dollar and Copeland are probably the three most influential and well known prosperity preachers alive today. Tilton is probably a couple of rungs below them, but a huckster nonetheless. As for the cries of "out of context" I find that especially humorous since these people make a living on taking God's Word out of context and Jennifer just ripped 3John1:2 out of context! Either way however; is there any acceptable context for the comments presented? In what context is it acceptable to sell false healings? To lie about seed offerings and harvest reaping? To brag about paying for planes with millions in dollars in cash and then calling your sheep jealous? To ask poor people to finance your luxury Learjet to the tune of 70 million dollars? Only in the twisted mind and wicked heart of a false prophetess can there be any acceptable context for these heretical and horrific comments.

Once again however, we see a more disturbing comment. The woman in question Leclaire references is the one I mentioned who lost their mother from cancer. Who refused medical treatment because she was banking on the healing sold to her by the Copelands. Instead of being sympathetic to the slaughtered sheep, she is again embracing the wolves. You never heard them promise anyone healing if they sowed enough? Is that how pathetically low we have set the bar? That they actually have to have uttered the exact phrase? What is their entire ministry message based on Jennifer? What do they constantly reinforce? Seed faith sowing to reap a harvest! You have never heard them equate healing with blessings? Because I sure have! Kenneth and Gloria are abhorrent wolves preying on the sheep of the Lord. Did they intend on killing this poor woman? Of course not but that is not the point. They contributed. This is a perfect example of why the responsibility to preach the Word of God is so awesome and should not be undertaken lightly. Preachers need to understand the power they wield when they wield thus sayeth the Lord. Especially when God did not actually say it. I have had good Christians ask me what the big deal is with word faith and prosperity heretics. This is what is wrong with them. When you pervert the Gospel for shameful gain you do not realize the wake of blood you leave behind because while the true Gospel heals the false gospel kills. This is not a game beloved. These are real people. God will hold us all to account. I will conclude with this final portion:

"That said, we have to be careful not to paint everyone who believes for an airplane or sows a seed to get out of debt as a heretic. Yes, Oliver exposed some excesses, but he went overboard with many of the examples he cited. In any case, I don't believe we should mock anybody. I despise the mocking spirit. And I know that God is not mocked. Whatever a man sows, that shall he reap (see Gal. 6:7)."

I guess when you are part of the false teaching network like Leclaire is you start to lose sight of the truth altogether. I will paint everyone who believes that God is going to give them a 70 million dollar airplane as a heretic because that is exactly what they are. I will paint everyone who teaches that sowing a seed will cancel debt as a heretic because that is exactly what they are. They are mangling the Bible at best and more than likely simply not following it at all. Once again, only in the twisted mind of someone so false as Jennifer Leclaire can a verse where the Apostle John wishes his friend continues to do well now that he is walking with Christ be mutilated into an excuse for preaching that God wants to give someone a 70 million dollar plane.

Jennifer is right about one thing. God will not be mocked. John Oliver of course was not mocking God. He was mocking false teachers who were mocking God. He was doing what Christians are supposed to do. He showed more compassion for the sheep of the Lord than Jennifer Leclaire has not to mention discernment. In one clip Oliver showed Tilton claiming that his ministry has seen midgets grow. You just cannot make this stuff up beloved. Jennifer despises a mocking spirit? OK, let me tell you what I despise Jennifer. I despise lying hucksters like Mike Murdoch who makes merchandise of the sheep of God and laughs in their face about it. I despise charlatans like Robert Tilton who pretends to heal people as a way to get them to send him money. I despise false teachers like Creflo Dollar who preach prosperity, word faith and antinomian heresies that will lead untold thousands into hell. I despise people like Kenneth Copeland who lead people to believe that sending him money will result in their healing or supernatural debt cancellation and are off skiing in Colorado when the person loses their house or dies from an untreated cancer. More than that though I despise people who prop these hustlers up as being Christian. People who perpetuate the nonsense that they are remotely preaching the Gospel of Jesus Christ. You are right Jennifer. God will not be mocked but that should not be a source of comfort for you. It should be a source of dread.
