Kris Vallotton - Leveraging God for NAR Dreams of Dominion

By       (Page 3 of 4 pages)   3 comments

"Ephesians 3:20 says that God is able to do "far more abundantly beyond all that we ask or think." This is why we should be eager to develop a life in the Spirit, as it gives us access to God's heart, ways, and thoughts. Even with everything going on in the world around us, God is giving you permission to dream bigger, in fact, it's uncertain times like these that our gifts should be leading us in unprecedented ways. It's time for Believers to start thinking like God instead of thinking about God. It's time for us to be the cultural architects, the imagineers and visionaries of our time." - Kris Vallotton

This is what makes people like Vallotton so dangerous. He knows enough bible fragments to dupe undiscerning minds and baby Christians with words that while sounding reasonable are pure anathema to those who actually understand the word of God. The purpose of developing a life in the spirit has nothing to do with becoming architects, imagineers and visionaries for this world. The gifts of the spirit are given by the spirit, so the comment that they should be leading us is inane. You must understand that Kris believes that every believer can develop all of the gifts. He even teaches at a fake supernatural school at Bethel which is built on this heretical principle. He thinks he can teach you to prophesy! Did you get that? Kris Vallotton believes he can teach to you receive direct revelation from God. How blasphemous. If you think that God sent His only Son to suffer the horrors of the cross so that you can dream bigger about how to become a bloated sense of self-importance in this world then I fear for your salvation. Notice the subtle dig again at people who want to study the word of God. We merely want to "think about God." No Kris, we want to follow Him. We want to be about His business. You claim it is time we start thinking like God and you have yet to correctly use one verse He has written.

"In closing, I want to leave you with two immediate actions that help you to lead the way in your sphere of influence:

Develop a culture that allows you to think. The Hebrews writer in chapter 6 verse 1 said, "Therefore let us leave the elementary teachings about Christ and go on to maturity, not laying again the foundation of repentance from dead works, and of faith in God..." Believers need to create cultures that allow the exploration of God's ideas! Let me be clear, I'm not talking about coming up new theologies or getting more mystical. I'm simply saying that God has equipped us to access real solutions that solve the problems of nations, we just need to mature into His way of thinking and we need one another to grow with." - Kris Vallotton

Sphere of influence, ugh. Just another NAR nonsense term. Kris provides one more scripture he does not understand here in closing. Maturity in Christ is entirely related to doctrine not cultural revolution. It is not about coming up with new theologies but rather the right ones. Kris' entire theology is wrong and he wants to go on to deeper theology? His entire focus, as shown here again, is to solve the problems of this world. Kris, there is only one solution to all of the problems you see in this world - Jesus Christ. There is only one mechanism by which people can come to Christ for salvation - the Gospel. That is His way of thinking and you cannot mature into it if you are constantly gazing at this world. Mercifully, Kris concludes:

"Embrace the tension. We must understand that creativity, innovation, and invention is in God's nature. This means creative thinking and art of solution making is in our DNA. Yet, standing on the precipice of ideation comes a great tension. This pressure causes some to retreat and others to fall, but I want you to know that you were made uniquely to look fear in the face and tell it to stand down. Don't forget, the Spirit of the Living God lives in you. You were designed to carry the creativity of God's thoughts and ways. You are a supernatural solutionary!" - Kris Vallotton

Wow! I am so special! I had no idea! All this time I thought I was a miserable wretch saved by the awesome grace and mercy of God. All this time I thought I had to die to self and carry my cross daily as I worked out my salvation with fear and trembling. Yes, I think I remember reading that somewhere. I am a supernatural solutionary? I thought God had all of the answers and was a slave to Christ. Are you getting the point? The NAR dominionist is singularly focused on this world because they idolize this world. As Kris brilliantly displays here he is not one bit interested in God. Rather, he wishes to use God. To leverage Him to help him be more powerful in this world. To Kris Vallotton - the world is his portion and he is constantly looking for a bigger piece of the pie. For those of us who have a "religious spirit" that insists on God's word, only the Lord can be our portion. Therefore, we will hope only in Him.
