Jesus answered, "My kingdom is not of this world. If my kingdom were of this world, my servants would have been fighting, that I might not be delivered over to the Jews. But my kingdom is not from the world." - john 18:36 (ESV)

Shane Idleman is a perfect example of how the NAR corrupts the best of intentions. From everything I can glean, Idleman used to be a solid biblical preacher. Somewhere along the line though he listened to the wrong teachers and started to think that his job was to save this country instead of saving souls. Dominionism, which is the idolatry of nationalism, is at the heart of the apostate church today. It is a cancerous infection upon the body of Christ that draws our attention away from the kingdom of God. Take this past year where so many within the church were infatuated with carnal politics. All of the false prophets lined up to exclaim that God told them Donald Trump was going to win a second term. Then he lost by over seven million votes. Oops. Some have offered apologies that miss the point while others refuse to accept reality. The link above is to Shane's latest piece for Charisma News which brilliantly displays all of the denial of the apostate church and its refusal to self-examine and realize that this election was God's judgment against them. Let us reason once again.

"Turmoil, chaos and confusion are running rampant, and that's an understatement. Those in the charismatic community are wondering how prophets missed it, and conservative Christians are asking why God would let the election end like this." - Shane Idleman

Right from the start we see how deep the delusion is that leaders of the apostate church sit under. They can never fathom that their assumptions are all wrong to begin with. That the way they conduct their church and even understand their bible, is completely wrong. Just look at the notion that all of the prophets "missed it." There is no question that they did. Caught up in the Trump fever they created, false prophets across the apostate church reveled in their prophecy of a second Trump term. What the heck - it's only a 50-50 gamble! Here is what they cannot see because of the darkness they walk in. Prophets cannot "miss it." The world believes in shades of grey to hide their sin but we as believers know that everything is black and white. The bible makes it abundantly clear that there are only two type of prophets: true and false. The true prophet hears from God, recites what He has said, and are proven correct by the outcome. The false prophet does not actually hear from God at all. Shane's system of prophecy is the Charismatic model where these charlatans listen to whatever creeps into the wickedly deceitful hearts and just attribute it to God. What Shane and the Charismatic apostate church never consider is that God used their idol worship of Donald Trump to expose the false church and her false prophets. To expose Shane Idleman as the dominionist, NAR, false teacher that he is.

Likewise, why would God let the election end like this? Seriously? Is God not sovereign? Does not everything under His creation unfold only according to His will? Does He not raise up leaders and allow them to fall? The election could not have been any clearer. The victor won by over seven million votes. The republican led government even said that this was the most secure election in history! As if to send a clear message the electoral college margin was exactly what it was when Trump won in 2016, which he referred to as a landslide. God could have been clearer. The real question is why the church would side with a man trying to steal that election. Why "Christians" would side with horrific lies over and over again. Why even now, many Christian leaders are defending the murderous jackals who assaulted the Capitol and killed five people. So why would God let it end this way? How did so many claiming to be prophets miss it? One word beloved - judgment. God used the 2020 election for His glory to expose the false church that worships men over God and the politics of this world over the word of the Lord.

"First, no one knows exactly why God does what He does. His sovereignty is my ultimate security. The Bible says, "For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are My ways higher than your ways, and My thoughts than your thoughts" (Isa. 55:9). Unless it's clearly revealed in His Word, we can run into trouble when we try to figure out God's will, and especially when we expect His will to be a reflection of our own. This is where some of the prophetic voices missed it--they prophesied what they "felt" versus what God was intending. They prophesied what appeared to be the best plan for America, but God has other plans. Add to this the celebrity status that was building in the lives of many well-known voices, and the danger of missing God's actual purpose is even greater. All of us must guard our hearts and say like John the Baptist, "He must increase, but I must decrease" (John 3:30)." - Shane Idleman

No Shane. That is not how prophecy works. God does not "intend." God does not stutter. He is not ambiguous. He does not leave anything up to the prophet to determine on their own. Here is the real kick in the face for Shane that he has not yet connected. If the apostate church and its gaggle of false prophets all thought a second term for Trump was what was best for America but God had other plans, then what you thought was best was actually against God. Are you seeing the judgment yet Shane? You were actively working against what God wanted! Therein lies the folly of thinking that the church is supposed to conquer the mountain of government. The best you can do is guess and even when you think you are so sure you can still miss it so spectacularly. The object Shane is to guard your heart before you make such an egregious error. The idea is to say He must increase before being exposed as being false.

"Second, haven't most of us been saying for decades that America is ripe for judgment? And how does God often judge nations? He uses foreign enemies from without and allows corruption and rot from within. Many in our land are echoing Jeremiah when he asked, "Why does the way of the wicked prosper? Why do all who are treacherous thrive?" (Jer. 12:1b), but when we consider the unmasked hatred of all things godly, should we really be surprised? Again, I don't know God's plans perfectly, but it seems that America reached the tipping point. Let's be very clear: As Dwight D. Eisenhower said, "A people that values its privileges above its principles soon loses both." We lost our moral compass a long time ago. Historically, we know that God judged those nations who continually tolerated sin; wrong choices have devastating national consequences.

Arnold Toynbee, who wrote A Study of History in 1961 said, "Of the 22 civilizations that have appeared in history, 19 of them collapsed when they reached the moral state America is in today." And that was written decades ago. What would he say now?" - Shane Idleman

Wow. Just when it sounds like Shane was having a "come to Jesus" moment he reverts right back to the apostate church leader we all know him to be. This is known as the blame the sinners approach of the NAR. Shane and the NAR firmly believe that America was founded by Charismatic evangelicals who sang "Friend of God" before they signed the Declaration of Independence. Somewhere over the next 200 years however, the country would be infiltrated by dirty rotten sinners who have somehow led America out of covenant with God. Mind you none of this is actually true. The apostate church however needs a foil. They need a bad guy to blame and Lord knows they will not look in the mirror. So they look at people who according to the bible think the things of God are utter foolishness and blame them. Mind you, I am not even disagreeing about the moral state of this country I just refuse to wear blinders that the main reason for this decay is the church itself. Just look at the past year and how the petulant apostate church demanded that they be allowed to meet in the middle of a pandemic. Breaking laws and violating scripture regarding obedience to authority, they seemingly do not even care when congregants die because of their sinful desires. What else does the world see when they look at the apostate church? They see a privileged class constantly whining about persecution that is simply not there. They see pastors falling from grace repeatedly. They see hucksters and snake oil salesmen surrounding the current president and bowing down to all things Trump. All the while pointing the accusing fingers at the everyone else when God is clearly speaking to them.

"Third, as much as I would like godly people in positions of leadership, from Mike Pompeo to Ben Carson, the state of the church in America should be our primary concern. We are a representative government, which means that those in power reflect the people who voted for them. How can we expect godly leadership to be elected by a lost citizenry, and the fault there--as well as the remedy--lies squarely with the church. The church as a whole has become comfortable--too comfortable. All-night prayer meetings have been exchanged for all-night Netflix binges. Powerful worship services where the Spirit of God is moving have been turned into 60-minute programs designed to entertain rather than convict. Pastors are measuring success by "likes" and "followers" rather than Christlikeness and following Him. As I said in a recent article, The church must reset. It's painfully obvious that most churches do not model themselves after the church that Christ commissioned. If America has any hope of rediscovering its moral compass, it will begin with a revived church fearlessly proclaiming the truth in the power of the Spirit. And that will come at a price." - Shane Idleman

Shane is flexing his NAR dominionist muscles here. It is the seven-mountain heresy that believes in placing people from the church into positions in government. Never mind that Carson is a Seventh Day Adventist. Shane is correct however that the fault for a lost electorate resides with a church that is not fulfilling its role. The problem is that he only sees these faults in other churches. In the mind of the NAR false teacher, they are the only ones brave enough to confront the sinful world with the truth as they see it. This false pursuit of revival is an obsession within the apostate church today.

"A Rude Awakening May Bring a Great Awakening. As much as we wanted an administration that is less hostile to Christ and His bride, could it be that God is giving us a rude awakening to usher in a great awakening? In studying past revivals, we can see that they were birthed in travail--prayer was the heartbeat of the saints. Talk of holiness and the things of God were commonplace. There was a desperate recognition of our own sinfulness and an insatiable hunger for God that we rarely see today. But now, under this new pressure, we see the refining hand of God at work. My wife and I were encouraged that so many people showed up for our worship service on Jan. 6. The hunger for God was evident. Tribulation is a great magnet that draws us to the Savior. Keep in mind that I'm saying all of this as a proud American who loves the gift of freedom and prosperity that God has given us to steward. As Christians, we have dual citizenship. We have a responsibility to both, with God's kingdom as the priority. Yes, we are in disarray right now, but this can lead to a true awakening if we once again place our hope in Him and remember Paul's words, "I have been crucified with Christ. It is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me" (Gal. 2:20). Stop focusing on what happened and start focusing on what you can do." -Shane Idleman

Or could it just be that God allowed the winner for His own purposes? Is it possible God was jealous of the Trump idolatry that was consuming the church in America? Just think of the sheer idolatry of proclaiming we have dual citizenship! We have no such thing! The bible says very clearly that we have citizenship in heaven! That we are pilgrims, sojourners and exiles in this world. Even the key verse today is Jesus explaining that His kingdom is not of this earth. Our responsibility is to His kingdom. We should be found doing His work. Our faith should stand out like a shining city on a hill. We cannot serve two masters yet that is exactly what Shane admits to and is proud of doing. Sure, he tempers it by saying that the kingdom comes first but go back to the first commandment. The kingdom needs to also come second and third and every place in between in the life of a believer.
