Your Spirit Shines On ("You want some?")

The road always seems so long

The desert remains dry and the valley runs deep

Into the recesses of your soul

You looked up to ask why

The pain, the pain in life

Yet He always heard your cry

Providing hope and love

The harbor in your storm

Amidst the sorrow and uncertainty

A white rose remained and shone

Shone like the sun

So your light shines now for all to see

A spirit that cannot be denied

Touching all who dare to see

What God can do

And what God can be

Touching all, for all to witness

A spirit unrestrained and set free

And your light now shines for all to see

And all that you can be

Infectious

Spreading the love of God

The hope of eternity

A light to the world

The enemy whispers in worry

But Jesus stands in the gap

And you listen no more

Listen no more

To the lies that have held you back

The chains are loosed

Eyes opened wide

Through fire and testing, you prevail

And your light now shines

Your past is gone

No guilt, no shame

No fear, no condemnation

Those cold iron shackles are broken now

Buried at Calvary

The beauty of God resides within you

Within your eyes, within your smile

Your spirit explodes

Saturated

To overflow

So you willingly offer for any who want

Or may be in need

God cares, and so you do

The light shines brighter still

He shines in your eyes

And shines through your smile

A sunrise in an October sky

The calm waves of God's ocean

Falling gently upon the shore of our lives

It is you

And God in you

Your spirit shines, it shines through

Praises to the King of Kings

Christ in you

The hope of glory

Keep shining

No whispering shall be heard

No weapons shall prosper

No darkness can cover your spirit

Your light will shine

Shine for all to see
