For if someone comes and proclaims another Jesus than the one we proclaimed, or if you receive a different spirit from the one you received, or if you accept a different gospel from the one you accepted, you put up with it readily enough. Indeed, I consider that I am not in the least inferior to these super-apostles. The key verses today are from the Apostle Paul writing his second letter to the church at Corinth that he founded. At the beginning of the 11^th chapter we see him address false teachers/apostles/prophets that were infiltrating the church and that were being widely accepted. The parallels to the church today are quite striking as we see a compromised apostate church that welcomes all sorts of silliness and falseness as long as the person can spell the name Jesus correctly. The church today is biblically illiterate and spiritually apathetic, which is why they are easy prey for such charlatans and snake oil salesmen. Let us walk through these verses and reason together once more. After this, we will examine the latest mockery of God offered up by the Queen of Calamari, Jennifer Leclaire, linked above. This should serve to drive the point home in a real tangible way.

I almost started at verse three because sometimes we rush past the significance of who we are supposed to be in Christ. Paul reminds us here that we are supposed to be betrothed to Christ as a pure virgin. The word betrothed means engaged to be married. There will be a Marriage Supper of the Lamb upon His return when the church, not us individually, will be married unto our husband. God uses this imagery so that we can comprehend what is beyond our finite minds. The point of emphasis here is on remaining a virgin. Unsoiled. A harlot sleeps with many other gods. She entertains many other beliefs. She does not care about what her betrothed wants. Once again, this imagery is used so we can see. We are not talking about sex here but idolatry. What is it that we worship? What is it that we allow to corrupt our faith? When someone comes along with tales of sneaky squid spirits do we readily accept such unbiblical garbage or do we stay true to our Husband? When Bethel teaches that our experience equals or surpasses Scripture do we stain ourselves by accepting this false teaching or hold the verity of God's Word up to it and dismiss it for the false teaching that it is? Do we stay in churches that do not present the whole Gospel for fear of losing friends or not having carnal fellowship anymore? These are all questions we need to examine when we do as the bible says and examine ourselves.

There are a couple of truths to glean from verse three. First of all the schemes of the devil do not really change that much. His sin was desiring to ascend to the throne of the Most High and he tempts us with the same sin. He told Eve that God forbade the fruit because He knew she would be like God if she ate it and she bought the lie. What lies does Satan speak through the mouths of false prophets and teachers today? Joel Osteen teaches that your words can create, just like God. Creflo Dollar and Joyce Meyer teach that we are in fact little gods. Places like Bethel and IHOP believe they can teach the powers of God to you. The NAR teaches that Christ cannot even come back unless we take over the world. These may all seem different but at their heart they are all Lucifer desiring to ascend to the throne of the Almighty. The second important point here is that false teaching has a cost and that is being drawn away from a sincere and pure devotion to Jesus Christ. The bible says they we are either gathering people to Him or scattering them away from Him. There is no third option. What do we see today beloved. Go to the website linked above and see that 99% of the material presented by Charisma News simply scatters people away from the biblical Jesus. They are busy drawing you to worship politics, angels, and false prophecy after false prophecy. Through their cunning our thoughts can be easily led astray.

This is the verse that exposes the apostate church today. It is also the verse that gives them the most problem understanding. This does not mean if you say you believe in Jesus then you are ok. The point is what Jesus do you believe in? Do you believe in a rich Jesus that wants you to be wealthy beyond greed? Do you believe in a Jesus more concerned with carnal politics than His Gospel? Chances are, you are following a false Christ. Beloved you must understand this point. Jesus did not say in the Gospel of John that He was His Word as a throwaway line to ignore. Follow this very closely. When a teacher/preacher/prophet present what is not in His Word then they are in fact presenting to you another Jesus! It is not from the Holy Spirit! It is a different spirit! Not only do we readily accept it but we retweet it like it is not anathema to us. We repost on Facebook so others can be led astray by our own actions. We defend the most unbiblical teachings out today or hide behind pseudo-pious calls for prayer. We readily accept because we refuse to do the nobler work of a Berean.

I love seeing the dripping sarcasm of Paul as he refers to the false teachers as super-apostles but we should not gloss over the significance. This is often how the false present themselves. They are super-spiritual. They have a direct line to throne room of God. They lord over people with absurd titles they did not earn nor were given by any real authority. Cindy Jacobs calls herself a "general" for example. You cannot go five pages on Facebook these days without tripping over a super-prophet. They are so busy lifting themselves up they hardly have any neither time nor energy to lift up Jesus. But they are skilled orators. Think of TD Jakes when you read these verses and consider the true test Paul offers. It is not how they speak but WHAT they speak. Beloved a true man of God will always point you to Christ, through His words not their own. The false will marvel you with tales of heavenly shifts and words the signify nothing truly spiritual no matter how reverent they try to sound. That brings us to the link above and the latest from the keeper of the sneaky squid spirit, Jennifer Leclaire.

After pressing through the battle and quieting my soul, I heard the Lord say: Ancient angels from the company of revelation are going to visit those in this hour who have been experiencing dreams and visions they do not comprehend and cannot understand." -- Jennifer Leclaire

Note the super-apostle language. I get a renewed worldview. The spirit realm opens up to me. God gave her personal fire angels which have never left her side. And this year was more intense! Angels and demons were fighting in her room! She had to press through the battle to receive what the Lord had ordained for her. The reward for being so darn spiritually special? God is now going to give her ancient revelation angels to interpret her dreams. Wow. I wish I was a spiritually special as Jennifer! I'm just a lowly discernment minister trying to spread the Gospel. I need to go buy some calamari and maybe I can get my own company of angels! I want snow angels though, not fire. I hope by this point you are detecting the sarcasm because I am laying it on pretty thick. Beloved this is absolute nonsense! The hero of this opening story is Jennifer, not God. It highlights how special Jennifer is. There are no fire angels or revelation angels. This is borderline Gnosticism that claims there is hidden and secret knowledge that only people as special and super-apostle-y like Jennifer will be given access to. Angels and demons battling is her room. Please stop.

"I have released companies of revelation angels to expound and explain those deeper truths that many could not bear and the mysteries that have so far only been partially unlocked to a few over the ages. I am releasing these angels with a word of caution to My people: Satan disguises himself as an angel of light. Stick close to me, closer than you have ever drawn, and you will avoid deception and enter into a deeper mode of revelation in your daily walk." -- Jennifer Leclaire

Whoaaaa shabba. Ancient mysteries locked up over the ages just waiting for someone as super-duper-apostle-ish as Jennifer Leclaire to release? Legions of revelation angels eh? Odd that such angels do not appear in Scripture. Perhaps in the truly ironic humor that only God can have, Leclaire misses the warning for her. Satan and his emissaries do indeed disguise themselves as angels of light to deceive. They may come to your room and pretend to fight demons. They may tell you they are angels of fire or even angels of revelation! This is the very same language that Paul is writing about in the key verses! This is the skilled speaking lacking in knowledge. Jennifer Leclaire and Charisma present a false Christ because he is not based on the verity of Scripture but rather on these insane personal revelations passed off by their panel of super-apostles.

I am bringing My seers and prophetic people into a new dimension of the revelatory realm where mind cannot comprehend, but angels can explain. Just as I sent angels to Daniel and John to bring understanding of what they were seeing, I am dispatching angels on assignment to bring understanding to those who have been crying out for accurate interpretations of things they see and hear as they lay on their bed or as they walk through their days." -- Jennifer Leclaire

Ugh. First let us deal with the shameless self-promotion aspect. Jennifer runs an absurd "School for the Seers" which runs about $400 per year. She also has a School of Prophets which she runs out of the same hotel room by the Fort Lauderdale Airport. The difference she claims is that seers are given dreams instead of straight words from God. The entire concept is based loosely upon a smattering verses that God never intended for this abuse. Not to mention the blasphemous claim of being able to teach gifts of the Spirit. So Jennifer throws in these "seers" into her false prophetic word as if God said this. Notice what Jennifer bases her increased knowledge on -- consistency in the spirit. Not consistency on the word. You see the notion of the spirit is manipulative. It is left open for corruption from the wickedly deceitful hearts of men. The word is the word. It does not change. Notice more of the super-spiritual language used. Apparently the unknown comes in layers and degrees, who knew? New dimensions of the revelatory sounds an awful lot like the shifting in the atmosphere we usually hear from this crowd. Just super-spiritual gobbledygook designed to tickle ears and mean nothing. Beloved, if you ever have angels wanting to explain things to you that you cannot comprehend -- run for your bible! The end analogy does not make this mess anymore biblical. How much of a super-apostle does Jennifer fancy herself? Well, it's Daniel, the disciple Jesus loved, and then Jennifer Leclaire. Let that sink in. Mercifully, this train wreck ends:

"I am dispatching angels on assignment to bring "aha" moments for the purpose of prayer and intercession that bring My will to pass and My kingdom into the earth in greater measure. I am calling you to incline your ear to Me, to seek first My kingdom and to receive my angels of revelation." -- Jennifer Leclaire

We all remember the "aha" moments from the ministry of Jesus don't we? No? Maybe it was from the life of Solomon? Nope, not that either. Wait a minute beloved! I am receiving a prophetic download right now. It is a real aha moment! Jennifer Leclaire is a ridiculous false prophetess! She is adding to scripture here something God never promised us. We seek the kingdom first and then all of the cares of this world God will take care of. Not to receive demons of revelation that will lie to us about what God has and has not said.

Beloved, we have been betrothed for marriage to the King of Kings and the Lord of Lords. He is a jealous God. We need to keep our garments clean by refusing to accept false Christ's offered to us by those that fancy themselves and market themselves as super-spiritual. Just as the serpent deceived Eve he seeks to deceive us. That is why the very first item in the armor of God is the belt of truth. The belt of truth is what holds the breastplate of righteousness in place. There is no righteousness without truth. We need to stop readily accepting what is clearly false like the church at Corinth was known to do, so many years ago.
