Arrogant Todd White Goes Full Copeland Prosperity -- Does Not Care What You Think

By Anthony Wade

Todd White has learned so much from Chief Wolf Kenneth Copeland and he does not care what you think...

But those who desire to be rich fall into temptation, into a snare, into many senseless and harmful desires that plunge people into ruin and destruction. For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evils. It is through this craving that some have wandered away from the faith and pierced themselves with many pangs. -- 1Timothy 6:9-10 (ESV)

There are few preachers out there as dangerous and false as Todd White. He has also been clever in the past, never making too big a splash that would draw unwanted attention to him and his "ministry" efforts. He played a major role in Darren Wilson's unbelievably heretical Holy Ghost movies. Who can ever forget Todd pulling the "growing leg scam" at the Korn concert? He also built his rep as a "healer" but only would practice his craft on unsuspecting people in foreign countries that had impressionable conditions that could easily be manipulated through the power of suggestion. Todd was very good at what he did. So good that his cult like following started to become more mainstrean and recently he opened his own fake supernatural school like Bethel, IHOP and even recently Dr. Michael Brown have all done. He has moved up in the ranks of the Purpose Driven Industrial Complex. He started affiliating himself with more powerful hucksters than just the Robbie Dawkins and Darren Wilsons of the world. Specifically, he started palling around with Kenneth Copeland, one of the grandfathers of hucksterism. Now it seems that Todd has thrown caution to the wind. He is fully out of hiding now and recently a brief video went public of him preaching about prosperity and how great Kenneth Copeland is. This video is linked above so let us reason together once more beloved:

"People call prosperity some twisted doctrine. God wants you to be in good health. He wants you to prosper. He wants your soul to prosper. You see when you have a prosperous soul, money doesn't matter to you. The more you have, the more you give. I promise you. The more God gives you the more you become a giver. And you give and give and give and give. Why? Because God so loved the world He gave. So that is what we do as Christians, we give. You're like, "well you you're just after money." No. God's not after you, he is after you never being had by money. Money doesn't make the world go around -- Jesus does." -- Todd White

It is interesting that right after White decries people calling prosperity doctrine twisted, he proceeds to twist his foundational point in defending prosperity! God wants you to be in good health is immediately conflated with God wants you to prosper. These are two entirely different concepts beloved. The term prosper is code-speak for charlatans looking to fleece God's flock. He then makes an unbiblical and inaccurate point in claiming that when you have a prosperous soul money no longer matters to you. Is this supported anywhere in the bible? No. Is it even supported in the world system? Absolutely not. Sure, rich people give money but rarely as much as they could. Consider that Jesus addressed this exact point:

And he sat down opposite the treasury and watched the people putting money into the offering box. Many rich people put in large sums. And a poor widow came and put in two small copper coins, which make a penny. And he called his disciples to him and said to them, "Truly, I say to you, this poor widow has put in more than all those who are contributing to the offering box. For they all contributed out of their abundance, but she out of her poverty has put in everything she had, all she had to live on." -- Mark 12:41-44 (ESV)

It is easy for the rich to give out of their abundance. True faith is giving out of your lack. This false premise is often used by prosperity pimps. That we give to be a blessing so if we just had more to give we could be even more of a blessing. White then shows he is a newbie at this by mangling John 3:16. As if God "giving" His only Son had anything to do with earthly prosperity! Lastly here is the usage of a trite and silly soundbite about money not making the world go around. Now Todd steps up his game:

"when you become a radical giver and become a radical tither. A radical offeror and a person that just blesses people you step into the Abrahamic Blessing. The blessing of Abraham. People get such attitudes with this -- get over you! I could care less what you think right now. I really don't. it doesn't matter to me. I love you but you need to be free. This isn't about hoarding everything for yourself. This is about changing the world through a currency that the devil uses to manipulate." -- Todd White

Yes the devil does use money to manipulate and we are seeing a perfect example in this snippet from Todd White! He endorses tithing here, which is an Old Testament requirement of the law that was nailed to the cross. Note the way he uses the word radical to impose guilt upon even those who may give regularly. That is not good enough -- are you radical? It is only through radical giving that we can step into the blessings of Abraham. What an utter pile of garbage. As if realizing how meaningless and false his point is here he gets more arrogant by telling any who would dissent to get over themselves and that he could care less what they think. Not about hoarding says the man who lives in a million-dollar mansion. Yes beloved, Todd White does desire for you to be free. Free of all that pesky money that's preventing you from enjoying the blessing of Abraham.

"Do you know how much money is going through the hands of pimps, drug dealers? Do you have any idea what the world does with money? What the church could do if she ever knew who she was? The devil doesn't ever want you to get a revelation of finances -- ever. Because if he does, he loses control of you." -- Todd White

This is another tried and true fallback preaching point for prosperity pimps. How many lives could be touched for Jesus, wink wink. That was essentially Kenneth Copeland's answer when questioned by Inside Edition. He said he would have to stop 75% of his ministry activities if he was made to fly like the rest of humanity. The problem of course is that he does not preach the actual Gospel so stopping 75% would be a great start. I remember a story a year or so ago about a woman diagnosed with cancer who was in Copeland's congregation. Her family said she refused treatment because she said it would be a lack of faith. Instead she kept upping her "seed" to Copeland's ministry hoping to buy her miracle. As a result, she died and Copeland and White keep on lying about the devil not wanting you to get a revelation about your finances. Well, unless they mean themselves -- then yes.

"Kenneth Copeland taught me so much. You guys can think what you want. There are people who have said" I have had partners with Lifestyle Christianity, who said now that we know you are in cahoots with that false prophet we can't partner with you. I feel bad for you. I don't need your partnership. It's not about that. You see you do not know that Kenneth Copeland is one of the most generous people alive on the planet." -- Todd White

Thank God there are some people who still have a modicum of discernment. Some who walked away from Todd when they saw him cozying up to Copeland. The same way there were friends of Francis Chan who warned him about partnering with Mike Bickle. Todd's arrogance, as was the case with Chan, would be too much. Instead of considering what people are saying he just reflexively says he doesn't need their partnership. Instead he falls back on his earlier defense, which is no more biblical now -- Copeland is generous. Is this relevant to anything at all? Absolutely not. He is not the widow casting in his last two coins. I remember when TD Jakes was so happy that carnal cross dresser Tyler Perry was donating a million dollars to a project of Jakes' church that he let him lay hands on him. No one was pointing out that at 400 million net worth, the donation was a quarter of one percent. Yes, you can give more money if you have untold riches but that doesn't make you righteous in your giving beloved. Mercifully, the clip ends:

"Let me break it down for you. You know who Reinhard Bonnke is? Do you know how many souls they have in the kingdom right now? 76 million souls. Do you know who has paid for their crusades? Kenneth Copeland. Years ago, when Reinhard Bonnke wrote a book about a life of fire; at that time Kenneth Copeland had already sown over 70 million dollars into funding the crusades that saved all of those people. And there are people like, "well I don't like him." Who cares about what your opinion?" I'm really being serious. I love you but I don't care if you hate me for this one. It doesn't matter." -- Todd White

Beloved let me break it down for you. Reinhard Bonnke is an international fraud. He routinely goes to countries that do not police what he says and draws countless up for meaningless altar calls to pledge their lives to the false jesus that Bonnke preaches. How else does a missionary manage to grow his personal wealth to over four million dollars? So where does Todd White get this ridiculous number of 76 million souls? From Reinhard Bonnke. That means throughout his ministry, he has counted 76 million people coming forth to his altar calls and while he credits himself with having 76 million souls in heaven it really means 76 million false conversions. That means 76 million people to his credit are actually in hell. Unless some came out from the darkness before their lives were required of them.

As for the Copeland side of this mess do you know how much money Kenneth Copeland has made from fleecing God's flock with his heretical prosperity message? While mainstream sources say his wealth is well over 600 million, Copeland himself brags that he has over a billion dollars. He lives in a 6.5-million-dollar mansion he writes off as a "parsonage" to avoid taxes. He owns three private luxury jets, which uses liberally to fly up to his ski lodge in Colorado. I have no way of verifying the 70 million dollar claim White makes here but that is still 7 percent of a billion and even if true it only furthered Bonnke's heresy and massive false conversion rates.

Not that any of this will matter to Todd White now that he has his hand in the cookie jar. He does not care what your opinion is because you are not the one guaranteeing the million of dollars he covets. He does not even care of you hate him for this. As he said, it just doesn't matter to him. At least now in his arrogance he has exposed himself fully for all to see the charlatan he truly has been this entire time. The bible is very clear about the dangers of loving money and Todd could care less about any of them, including our key verses for today. He has fallen into temptation and into a snare. His harmful desires will plunge you into many senseless and harmful desires. This will only lead to ruin and despair beloved. This greed has driven many away from the faith. Wait a minute preacher! Are you saying God want us poor? If that is the question burning in your heart then yes. Read the parable of the rich man and Lazarus. Better to be eternally prosperous in Christ then temporarily rich in this carnal and fleeting existence. Do not allow the Todd White's of the world to lead you astray.
