Heavenly Pudding Ponds! False Prophet Mario Murillo Calls Out Falser Prophets

By Anthony Wade

Is Mario Murillo's Dominionism any stupider than Kat Kerr's "visits" to heaven? No.

Then the LORD said to me, "The prophets are prophesying lies in my name. I have not sent them or appointed them or spoken to them. They are prophesying to you false visions, divinations, idolatries and the delusions of their own minds. - Jeremiah 14:14 (ESV)

The number of false prophets and teachers today is simply staggering because the opportunity to fleece God's flock seems endless. There seems to be a sliding scale of seriousness, where some appear to be more "real" than others. For example, at one end of the spectrum are the silly Facebook prophets whose scope is relatively limited because their schtick is completely compromised. They still garner a following but it is nowhere near the size as you slide up the spectrum. Sliding past the Facebook prophets we come to the implausible folks like Jennifer LeClaire. True, she has a greater following due to Charisma News propping her up but sneaky squid spirits and releasing the angels of abundant harvest can only get you so far. At the opposite end of this imaginary spectrum are false prophets who have more money, more affiliations, and often are dealing with more serious subjects, such as dominionism. Truth is that Lance Wallnau is just as silly as Jennifer, but he has a larger following and more street cred because he is prophesying about carnal things that might matter to most folks and not aquamarine spirits.

That said, they are all false. It is just the ones on the "serious" end require more discernment than the absurd ones. They are intractably bound by two common traits. One, they are false, meaning a percentage of what they claim God has told them does not come to pass. Some might boast as a high a success rate as 65%, which they consider to be "great prophet" territory but according to the bible proves they are very false. The second consideration for us today is to remember what it means to be false in God's eyes and we find that in the key verse today. We must not lose sight of the fact that they are prophesying lies in the name of God! The arrogance and hubris! We must remember that God has not sent them nor commissioned them. He has not even spoken to them! They are not acting on behalf of the Lord! What they are telling you are false visions, divinations, idolatries, and delusions of their own mind. Do not lose sight of those last two. Dominionism is idolatry and by getting you to focus your faith on this country and politics, they get you to become an idolater. These are often delusions of their own mind meaning they are equally deceived. They deceive themselves. With this as the backdrop, let us examine the above linked article from Mario Murillo, a perfect example of a deluded idolater. Today we find Mario sneering down at the false prophets on the other end of the spectrum. So, what happens when a false prophet calls out other false prophets? Let's find out!

"I have been missing from certain television shows. People are asking why. They deserve an answer but I was not ready to go public until now. I still believe in these shows. And, I am deeply grateful for the strong support they have given to our tent crusades. But I had to step away for two reasons. You will notice that both reasons have only to do with soul winning.

1. The harvest is so great that it is consuming all of my time. The despair in America runs so deep that 20% of our youth have frequent thoughts of suicide. Furthermore, 9% of them have actually attempted suicide. And fentanyl is killing our kids on a scale we have never known in America. Lost souls are stampeding to the tent to be saved. The harvest is so great that we have a critical shortage of workers to handle all of those who are coming to the Lord. This has placed severe demands on my schedule." - Mario Murillo

The first thing Mario tries to do is prop himself up. He is just toiling away in the fields for the Lord! There is of course a huge difference between who shows up to a tent revival and those who seek the Lord. What do they get at Mario's tent shows? They get the gospel of dominionism. They are told the enemy is not the devil but evil leftists. He recently advised his followers to dump their friends who would not follow their voting patterns. Along with this he espoused the whackadoodle conspiracy theory that Barack Obama, George Soros, and Bill Gates are conspiring together to redefine the human race. The bible shows Jesus rebuking the Pharisees by pointing out that they travel around the globe to gain a single convert only to make him twice the son of hell that they are. That is all Mario Murillo does in his tent meetings.

"2. I do not want to be on at the same time as a certain other guest. It has to do with his association with two false preachers. I went to him""as Jesus taught, privately. I implored this person to deal with these counterfeit voices. He did not agree with my counsel. One of these false ministers is called a prophet and another that is called a seer. Why am I so adamant about these false prophets? Once again, you will see it has everything to do with preaching the gospel.

Why am I so adamant about these false prophets? These false preachers say things that are absolutely insane and unscriptural. Examine: One of them claims to see roller coasters, mountains of Jell-O, pudding ponds, cows on tractors and the fictional character of Santa Claus in heaven. There is no way this is true because the Bible says that all the works of Earth will be burned up. That means they will not reappear in heaven. Second Peter 3:10 (KJV): "But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up." There is no way this is true because the Bible says that all the works of Earth will be burned up. By claiming frequent visits to heaven and relating the details, she fancies herself above Paul the apostle. Paul said it was unlawful for him to say what he saw. Second Corinthians 12:2-4 says, "I know a man in Christ who 14 years ago""whether in the body I do not know, or whether out of the body I do not know, God knows""such a one was caught up to the third heaven. And I know such a man""whether in the body or out of the body I do not know, God knows""how he was caught up into Paradise and heard inexpressible words, which it is not lawful for a man to utter." The female false seer said she saw souls getting second chances after they die. I do not need to tell you how dangerous that is! The Bible says, "And as it is appointed for men to die once, and after this the judgment" (Heb. 9:27). The other false prophet is just as dangerous. Recently, he stood in a pulpit in Nashville and told the people to shut up if they did not believe there were mountains of Jell-O in heaven. He claimed God turned the Red Sea into Jell-O. Then he said there is a secret code that prophets know, and we needed to trust the prophets who possess this code in order to understand a deeper level of the Bible. This, my friend is straight up new age and occult teaching""not to mention medieval Catholicism." - Mario Murillo

I love that Mario thought it necessary to seek biblical reasons for why the prophecy about heavenly pudding ponds, Santa and cows driving tractors is false. Of course, what he is doing is transparent. By calling out the absurd prophets he further disguises his own falseness. Hey! At least I am not the pudding pond guy! I am talking about legislative policies that will affect the earth for generations, not sneaky squid spirits! What we have to understand today is that Mario spouting that only Republican voters get to go to heaven is just as insane as pudding ponds and Jell-O mountains. I haven't identified the male prophet he is referring to, but the female sounds like Kat Kerr, who claims to have visited heaven over 50 times and has a seasonal visiting pass. I agree Kerr is loony tunes and you should not want to share the stage with her but the same holds true for Mario Murillo. The argument needs to be made that Murillo is far more dangerous because while Kerr has 45K followers on YouTube, Murillo has a satellite channel. Kerr is so obviously inane that most dismiss her out of hand while far too many fall prey to Murillo's carnal brand of preaching that reaffirms their political biases in the name of the Lord.

"The bottom line: I am against these false preachers for the same reason I am against leftist politicians. I did not pick a fight with them. The Left jumped the fence and came after the gospel.

William J. Federer said, "The most important thing is to bring people to Christ. The second most important thing is to preserve the freedom to do the most important thing." I jumped into the fray because of the threat to the gospel. By opposing these false ministers I am fighting the very same fight""for the sake of the gospel. You should not accuse me of making these fake ministers look bad. You should be horrified that they are making the gospel look bad." - Mario Murillo

Murillo is smart enough to try and always rebrand his efforts as being gospel-centric but this is clumsy and obvious. The "left" did not jump a fence, nor did it "come for the gospel." If you want to see life in a country where the government comes for the gospel, move to China or the Middle East. Dominionism creates this false war, with false enemies, and victimizes the church when it lives in the freest country in the entire world. Mario does not actually envision a free society at all. He envisions a theocracy where you are "free" to pray Christian prayers in schools as part of the curriculum. Jesus never asked us to set up a theocracy for Him, nor does He need us to. The only threat to the gospel here is Mario Murillo and that is because he does not preach the gospel. He confers righteousness unto a carnal political party that is just as evil as the one he preaches hate about. As such, he is forced to embrace completely immoral men as long as he thinks he likes their policies. I agree that the pudding pond preachers bring reproach upon the gospel but so does the man that claims unless you vote as he does, you are a hell-bound reprobate.

"These false voices are a greater threat to the gospel because they cause outsiders to slander the gospel of Jesus Christ. They give our enemies ammunition to tell people, "See, this is what Christianity is! Stay away from it!" Second Peter 2:2, confirms the danger of their slander. "But there were also false prophets in Israel, just as there will be false teachers among you. They will cleverly teach destructive heresies and even deny the Master who bought them. In this way, they will bring sudden destruction on themselves. Many will follow their evil teaching and shameful immorality. And because of these teachers, the way of truth will be slandered."' - Mario Murillo

What I love about God is He always uses even what is posed against Him to expose their evil. Most people on the outside of salvation look at Kat Kerr mockingly. They know crazy when they see it. The ones they look at and slander Christ over are the Mario Murillo's of the world. They see his buddy Greg Locke having a church book burning and rightly think of Nazi Germany. They want nothing to do with the false Christianity of Mario Murillo that divides as its premise. They do not want to idolize a political party. The Second Peter verse is specifically about Mario Murillo! Kat Kerr is not a teacher; she is a kook. Murillo however presents himself as far more sober and his assessment is that there is an evil political side and a righteous one. You better hope you are on the right side too.

'But they are also doing double damage. They deceive people in the kingdom keeping them from true revival while preventing souls from entering the kingdom. They are guilty of the charge that Jesus levelled at the Pharisees. "For you shut the door of the kingdom of heaven in people's faces. You won't go in yourselves, and you don't let others enter either," (Matt. 23:13). They are more dangerous than you realize. Matthew Henry said "One traitor inside the church is worse than a thousand persecutors outside the church."' - Mario Murillo

Mario, poor Mario. Can't you see God is showing these things to you because they are about you! When your opening position is that half of the people are going to hell based on their voting record can't you see that it is you shutting the doors of the kingdom in their face? There is no end times revival Mario. That is just more of your warped, idolatrous theology at work. Only the devil can convince you to hate the very people who need the gospel the most. In many ways I wish you did preach Jell-O mountains because then we could dismiss you and move on. We can't however because your teachings are far more insidious than that. They tempt believers to hate. They take many on the outside and turn them into world conspirators, looking to destroy this age. That is not a good evangelism plan.

"But modern preachers do not agree. They think preachers like me are overreacting. That we should leave it in God's hands and He will take care of it. But Paul said in 1 Timothy 1:3-4, "As I urged you when I went into Macedonia""remain in Ephesus so that you may charge some that they teach no other doctrine, nor give heed to fables and endless genealogies, which cause disputes rather than godly edification which is in faith." Paul told Timothy, "I urged you..." He said it so forcefully, because correcting false doctrine is one a sacred duty. Oh, how we need to get back to the Bible! I long to be back on to these shows I love and support. My prayer is this will be resolved. But I cannot compromise truth. Too many souls are at stake. I am also contending for the reformation of the church""a moral cleansing that will wake us up, in order to bring in this massive harvest." - Mario Murillo

For the record, I do not think Mario Murillo is overreacting. I think he is wrong. Wildly wrong. He is right of course that we are not to just leave false doctrine to God. The bible is clear that we are to not only expose false teaching, but we are to name names. I name Mario Murillo who is not trying to cleanse or reform the church spiritually. He is however seeking to redefine the church along carnal, political lines. He employs misdirection, biblical stupidity and tin foil hat conspiracies to try an achieve his worldly ends. He has actually taught that the state governments led by Democrats were trying to use COVID to drive the church underground. That is just as crazy as heavenly pudding ponds, but the veneer is enough to trap unsuspecting people. It needs to be called out and rebuked so we may mark him and avoid him.
