I appeal to you, brothers, to watch out for those who cause divisions and create obstacles contrary to the doctrine that you have been taught; avoid them. - Romans 16:17 (ESV)

We have written recently about the obvious attempts by Charisma News to rehabilitate the corrupted image of Greg Locke. Mr. Locke was once considered just another bat-bleep crazy deliverance NAR dominionist. He ranked up there with the likes of Mario Murillo when it came to utter political lunacy. He called anyone voting Democratic witches and demanded they leave his church. He held book burnings in the backyard of his church. He was rude, crude and obnoxious and reveled in this image he had created for himself. Oh, and he was sleeping with the church secretary behind his wife's back. Don't worry though because he divorced his wife to marry the church secretary so, ya know, Jesus. Someone in the purpose driven, NAR industrial machine has recently decided to start promoting Locke, as soon as he paid his penance to Benny Hinn for writing that nasty book about him. Once he bowed the knee though he has been on the Charisma News Hype Machine. He has apparently entered the next stage of image rehabilitation which requires cutting ties with some of the more extreme elements he has been famous for. The above linked article is about that so let us reason once more together.

In the world of Christianity, it's common to encounter disagreements and divisions. While the Bible emphasizes the importance of unity among believers, it's also true that people sometimes interpret things differently and have varying approaches to their faith. How Christians handle these moments of division within the church says a lot about their commitment to the core values of love and unity. In a world where conflicts often make headlines, it's essential for Christians to remember a simple but powerful message from Scripture: If it's possible, do your best to live in peace with everyone (see Rom. 12:18).

There is a huge difference between disagreement and division. I can disagree about a pre-trib rapture, but division is the leaven of false doctrine that divides the church against itself. Read the key verse carefully beloved. People like Greg Locke, who teaches contrary doctrine, IS the division spoken of here. It is true that the bible speaks about unity, but it is hardly a "core value." In fact, it is a far greater value for God that we discern what we should not be unified with. We are either unified in Christ and by Christ or it is superficial and carnal. The only way to be truly unified in Christ is through His word - or doctrine! Yes, live at peace but we do not deny the truth. Light has no fellowship with darkness. This sloppy agape love and unity is straight up from the apostate church.

Recently, we've seen a division emerge between two large Christian ministries, but this age-old wisdom reminds us of the crucial role unity plays when differences arise. It's a reminder that we should prioritize peace and harmony, even when disagreements arise. Pastor Greg Locke of Global Vision Bible Church and Evangelist Daniel Adams, whose organizations were closely linked and in ministry with one another, have reached an impasse. Speaking at his service last week, Locke implored Adams to disassociate with one E.J. Newton, and for Lovy Elias to cut off all contact with Passion Java.

It is always amusing when false teachers call out other false teachers. Greg Locke is as false as they come. He is a rabid dominionist who believes politics is more important than the bible. Now to be honest I had not heard of these guys. I thought I ordered a Passion Java at Starbucks the other day, but I must have been mistaken. The truly sad thing however was just searching for these guys on YouTube. I watched a video from Mr. Java where he actually teaches that Adam and Eve were blind and only saw through the "third eye" which is made famous in occult practices. I watched a video of Mr. Elias where he pretended to have an entire conversation with "the angel of the Lord" as he spewed fake words of knowledge a la Shawn Bolz. In a different Elias video, he claimed he could shut his eyes for a minute and "know everything about everyone in the church" because he is a prophet. EJ Newton seems to be a smaller fish that is supported by these fake demon slayers. Daniel Adams video however was an absolute train wreck of absurdity where he put on an act of conversing with a demon inside of a woman for almost ten minutes. Only THEN did he "cast it out." This is the schtick however and Greg Locke built his fame upon. Before you go thinking this is fringe, Passion Java's wealth is estimated between 50-100 million dollars, and he loves to show off his multiple Lamborghinis. Both Elias and Adams are estimated to be worth around five million dollars. That being said, they are clearly not within the acceptable apostate church mainstream because of their level of crazy. It is because of this that Locke's new masters have apparently given him orders to separate from them. All we need to know is Locke is apparently still cool with Adams and Elias, just that they need to distance themselves from Newton and Java. Huh? This whole gaggle is ridiculously false. Daniel Adams is perhaps the most egregious of the lot, mostly because Java appears to do most of his fleecing in Africa.

Locke believes these men are not under the power of the Holy Spirit, and has publicly accused Java of being a witch doctor under the power of the Kundalini spirit. He has implored Adams to repent from the platform of his Mt. Juliet, Tennessee, church, but instead a wedge appears to have been driven between the two ministry leaders. "I am for unity," Locke declares during his Sunday service. "I am against mixture [with demonic spirits], and mixture is not unity. There's a difference in biblical unity and anti-biblical mixture. "Look, I want to be a bridge to bring unity to the body of Christ, but I will not be a syringe that injects poison by way of mixture into this church!" he adds.

It seems Java is more under the control of good ole fashioned greed but let's say Locke is right. How is Locke still ok with Adams if he directly supports and associates with someone under the power of the Kundalini spirit? Locke's self-righteous stance here is laughable. You do not want to be a syringe injecting poison into the body of Christ? The guy who screamed at his church that if they voted Democrat they could not be saved and needed to leave. The guy who held book burnings in the back of his church. The guy who called people in is church witches and demons. The guy who violates scripture every time he still pretends to be qualified as a pastor after committing adultery and divorcing his wife to marry the church secretary. That guy, right. Go watch the absolutely dumb videos by Elias and Adams. These are the people Locke would still stand by?

While striving for unity within the body of Christ is crucial, the Bible also offers guidance on how to handle situations where individuals within the faith may choose to reject the ways of God. The delicate balance between unity and separation is a topic that requires a deep understanding of biblical principles. The Scriptures acknowledge that, at times, believers may need to separate from those who persistently reject God's ways. In 2 Corinthians 6:14, the apostle Paul urges believers not to be "yoked together with unbelievers." Paul exhorts the importance of maintaining a clear distinction between the values and lifestyles of those who follow Christ and those who do not. While the Bible doesn't encourage judgment or condemnation, it underscores the need to safeguard one's faith and principles when faced with unyielding opposition to God's truths. In such situations, separation is not an act of judgment but a step taken in love, with the hope of fostering an environment where both parties can realign with God's will. The Bible encourages believers, "And do not have fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness; instead, expose them" (Eph. 5:11). It's a call to distance oneself from ungodly practices while maintaining a posture of love and prayer, with the ultimate goal of leading those who have strayed back to the path of faith. Finding this delicate balance between unity and separation is a challenge that requires wisdom, discernment and love, but it is grounded in the desire to see all individuals come to know and embrace the truth of the gospel.

Beloved, there is no "delicate balance" between good and evil. Between God and the devil. Between biblical teaching and false teaching. We unify with those who preach correctly, and we separate from those who do not. The problem is these false ministries are interconnected for financial reasons. It is a lot easier to fleece a larger swath of the flock than always hitting up your little slice. So, Adams gets invited to Elias functions and vice versa. The bible doesn't encourage judgment or condemnation?

For what have I to do with judging outsiders? Is it not those inside the church whom you are to judge? God judges those outside. "Purge the evil person from among you." - 1Corinthians 5:12-13 (ESV)

As usual, the bible is in opposition to Charisma News and Greg Locke. The bible does not only encourage us to judge but implores us to cast out those who are evil. We are not called to urge one false teacher to disassociate from others. They all have to go! A false teacher has not "strayed from the faith." Wolves were not once sheep and do not repent. Never lose sight that everyone in this discussion, from Locke to Newton are all unaligned from God's will. They do not care what His will is. They are liars and thieves. The Greg Locke rehabilitation tour may roll on with Charisma but every time he opens his mouth it becomes even clearer that we should seriously mark and avoid.
