It's that time of year again! When all the false prophets for some strange reason get different words from the same alleged Holy Spirit...

There is one body and one Spirit"just as you were called to the one hope that belongs to your call" one Lord, one faith, one baptism, one God and Father of all, who is over all and through all and in all. - Ephesians 4:4-6 (ESV)

Let us start today with a very simple theological concept. There is ONE God. We all believe this even those wrapped up in the apostate church where they just worship one false god. Since we believe in the Trinity, that means there is one Holy Spirit. There are not different Holy Spirits for each person. There are not different Holy Spirits for each teacher, preacher or wannabe prophet. The same Holy Spirit that leads me into all truth in New York is the same Holy Spirit that is drawing someone to Christ in Bangladesh. It is the same comforter in the Middle East comforting a man who is facing beheading for refusing to deny Christ. The same Holy Spirit that drew me to the glorious salvation of Jesus Christ is the same Holy Spirit that drew the 18^th century American revolutionary as well as the fourth century serf. This is clearly communicated by God in the key verses above. There is ONE spirit. That Spirit is not schizophrenic. That Spirit does not have multiple personality disorder. It is because of these simple truths that we can be assured that every time we start a new year God will expose the gaggle of false Charismatic prophets we see throughout the year.

I want to be clear. God may have a different message for a congregation in Pittsburgh then for one in Peoria. The letters Paul sent had different themes because the church at Corinth was dealing with rampant sin while the church in Galatia was being overrun by the Judaizers. The truths the Spirit reveals however, are the same because they come from God's word, but the context is obviously different. That is not what we are dealing with every January from the false prophet brigade. They pretend that God is speaking to them with messages for the entire body of Christ. If that were true, then two truths would need to be present. First the messages would have to be consistent and secondly, they would need to be easily applied across the entire world of believers, not just the American church. So, one of my favorite New Years pastimes is to peruse Charisma news a few days into the new year and see just how crazy these false prophets are saying the Holy Spirit is this year. So, buckle up and let us reason together beloved.

The first false prophet up and these are in no discernable order, is Dutch Sheets. According to Sheets 2024 will be the year of the dragon, the bear and the lion, which symbolize Russia, China, and Iran. This appears to be an NAR political statement not so cleverly disguised as a prophecy. Sheets claims that because we are weak under Biden, these three countries will seize the moment in 2024. Sheets claims God is telling him that 2024 will be the greatest year of frustration for the devil and he seems to point to recent elections in other countries where lunatic far right candidate won as being somehow a positive development. We must understand however that Sheets serves a political master, not God. If this so-called prophecy were true, then we would see a consistent message.

Next up is false demon slaying prophet, Mike Signorelli. Oddly enough, Signorelli does not mention geopolitics. Instead, he claims the spirit is telling him that 2024 will be a "birthing season." Now I hope not because God did not wire men for birthing, but Mike appears to be making nonsensical spiritual metaphors. He says that in 2023, false prophets could look as though they were real prophets but now the spirit is going to make a difference with real prophets in 2024 who are accurate and contrite before the Lord. Huh? If you claim God is speaking to you, shouldn't you always be accurate? Does God stutter? Adding to the confusion the demonic spirit is speaking through Signorelli it appears that 2024 is also a pivot, a reversal, a turnaround, a flip and a time for kingdom education. Well, that's a packed year but what happened to the dragon, the bear and the lion thingy?

That brings us to Mario Murillo, rabid dominionist. Yet despite his extreme NAR tendencies, he prophesies nothing about bears and lions and dragons. Instead, he claims the spirit showed him that 2024 is the year for Christians to stand strong, ironically in the face of false prophets. You see Mario loves to point out silly false prophets like Kat Kerr to deflect from his own false prophet credentials. In traditional NAR fashion, Murillo warns that in 2024 the "left" will behave like a wounded animal because of all the brave Christians like himself fighting them. In dominionist doublespeak, the "left" are the enemy. Not the devil, the left. Mario has essentially preached that even if Christians vote for democrats, they are hell-bound and unredeemable and the false god he worships assures him that 2024 will bring more of the same culture wars where the church can continue to wound the very people who need the gospel. Strange though that the Holy Spirit did not speak to him about giving birth or 2024 being the year that Iran, China and Russia all take advantage of a weakened America. I mean, if there is but one spirit, why all the different and disparate messages?

Another favorite dominionist false prophet is Samuel Rodriguez. He claims the spirit is about to do a new thing in 2024, which is a surprising old, repetitive claim. This includes "fresh oil, holy fire, and a new wind." Well, sign me up! I have needed a fresh wind for some time now. There is just no cross-ventilation in my apartment. Seriously, it appears the false spirit that Rodriguez worships is the spirit of brevity because these generic buzzwords contain no substance behind them and of course do not mention birthing bears or standing strong with dragons, odd.

Jennifer 'Sneaky Squid Spirit" LeClaire is next on the false prophet docket. When not releasing the angels of abundant harvest, LeClaire is busy receiving more nonsensical words from the false spirit or spirits that propel her false ministry. Her word, which again has nothing to do with birthing lions is that 2024 is the year the enemy wants to burn down the gates! Well, throw me on the grill and call me hot dog because I didn't see this one coming! Imagine the enemy wanting to burn down the"I'm sorry? What gates? I don't have any gates. LeClaire claims this is symbolic for the seven mountains heresy she espouses. That the enemy's goal is to transform our society with his darkness instead of light. This is a recurring NAR theme. That we are at war and in fact LeClaire's false prophecy here says we need to be rightly positioned for this era of war. Once again though, she and her NAR false prophets turn the enemy from Satan to those godless heathen lefties and the struggle is transformed from being about sin to being about culture. Where Rodriguez dealt in brevity, LeClaire likes to hear the echo of her own satanic words. She speaks of gatekeepers and watchmen but there is zero connection to the other prophecies we have heard so far, even though most of them align with her politically and theologically.

Troy Black, fresh off his defense of false apostle-ess Kathryn Krick, says all these others have it wrong because the spirit is showing him that 2024 is about the renewal of the saints. He said he heard the phrase "a precious element, a precious structure, the church body." Why the false spirit Troy worships only speaks to him in smatterings of sentence fragments is a mystery maybe Jonathan Con could tackle one day. For now, he claims 2024 is a season for sanctification of the church. He also says that he sensed from the Holy Spirit that God wants to pour out His joy upon his people in 2024! Thank goodness! I will take a year of poured out joy instead of that birthing dragons thing. You know, if we get to choose.

Charisma News secured an exclusive interview with pastor Troy Brewer! I know, I never heard of him either but apparently, he has been told by the spirit of God that 2024 will be a year of Dunamis power! Dunamis is a word loved by the Charismaniacs because it is loosely translated as dynamite and who wouldn't like to blow things up from time to time? Perhaps understanding that very few people actually know him, Brewer prophelies that 2024 is the year of new fresh voices! He also says that 2024 is a season divine testing and qualification for believers. Those that pass these tests will receive supernatural blessings, commands, permissions, and upgraded authority! Not a bad deal! Someone needs to tell Mike Signorelli to pivot away from birthing and get more into this list of goodies. Or maybe those that fail the tests have to go through the whole birthing thing. I don't know because Brewer never mentions it. Odd.

The last one for today from Charisma News is pastor Tony Suarez, who apparently went through the same witness relocation program that Troy Brewer did because nobody knows him either. Suarez claims the spirit emphasized in 2024 we need to go from revival to revolution! This radical NAR inspired blather pretends that revival is actually here and now we need to bring revolution to the world and transform Islamic countries into Christian countries. You know, because no bible verse ever said to do that. Believe me when I say that this exercise was quite easy. All of these false prophecies appear on the front page of Charisa News right now. God is exposing what is being falsely claimed that He is saying or doing. If the spirit told Mike Signorelli that 2024 was going to be a birthing season, then he would have said the same to Troy Brewer and Troy Black. If God told Dutch sheets the nonsense about lions and dragons and bears (oh my!) then he would have told the same to Jennifer LeClaire and Sammy Rodriguez. There are some similar themes because the majority of these folks are pure political animals. NAR dominionists believe the same things. Mario Murillo is the same as Greg Locke. They may have different ways of expression but there they are all claiming prophecy for 2024, which means they are claiming the Holy Spirit spoke to them an gave them these conflicting, schizophrenic messages for the body of Christ. He did no such thing beloved.

If you need more convincing, here is what Goggle reveals on top of Charisma. The clown car over at Generals International declares 2024 is the year to come up higher! Apostle Joshua Selman says it will be the year of exceeding great rewards. Tim Sheets could not even agree with his brother Dutch! He claims that 2024 is the year of "Godhead surprises." The New Zealand Prophetic Network says God is calling his people deeper into the spirit, whatever that means. Bethel's smart-phone prophet, Shawn Bolz says that 2024 will be a year divine alignment. His Bethel associate Kris Vallotton says 2024 will be the year of progressing. I hope we are getting the point by now. There is one God and one spirit but apparently, He suffers grievously from multiple personality disorder in the Charismaniacal apostate church. How else can you explain all of these wildly conflicting and different prophecies for 2024? Are we revolting? Are we invading Islamic countries? Are we preventing fire at the gates or waiting for joy to be poured all over us? Are we worried about lions and dragons and bears or are we ready to be wheeled into the delivery room because somehow, we are all pregnant? The truth is that none of these people remotely hear from the Lord. If they did, they would get the same message. That message has already been revealed in the bible. We just need to read it and stop seeking extra-biblical nonsense from political actors thinly veiled as Christians. If you want to believe 2024 is the year to birth dragons through Dunamis power, in Islamic countries while standing strong for Godhead surprises - you go right ahead. The rest of us will remain safely ensconced within the only true prophetic word, which God has already given us and let the Holy Spirit lead us into all truth there within.
