Shane Idleman Consigns to Hell Anyone Who Does Not Vote As He Dictates
By Anthony Wade
The onslaught form the NAR dominionist Charisma News continues. Vote as they say or you are going to hell...
::::::::
But false prophets also arose among the people, just as there will be false teachers among you, who will secretly bring in destructive heresies, even denying the Master who bought them, bringing upon themselves swift destruction. And many will follow their sensuality, and because of them the way of truth will be blasphemed. And in their greed they will exploit you with false words. Their condemnation from long ago is not idle, and their destruction is not asleep. - 2Peter 2:1-3 (ESV)
Why Are 'Christians' Divided in this Election? - Charisma News
As we get closer and closer to November, the NAR continues to send out messenger after messenger to demand that you vote for their choice. Any independent thinking is not allowed. If you come to any other conclusion, including not voting at all, you are deemed unworthy or even worse. We have seen Charisma News, headed by uber-dominionist Steven Strang, dispatch a host of liars and hucksters to demand your vote. We have seen Mario Murillo, Michael Snyder and Dr. Michael Brown flat out say you are not Christian unless you vote for their boy. Along comes Shane Idleman, so compromised with the NAR at this point that he has zero credibility left anymore. The above link is nothing more than an advertisement for Donald Trump thinly disguised as a Christian plea. Except there is nothing Christian about it. Beloved, the only thing that matters is the gospel, not our political opinions. Realize when you see articles like this or hear similar in your churches there are carnal political forces manipulating your so-called leaders. You have every right in this country to vote for whomever you choose, for whatever reasons you have concluded. What you do not have the right to do is butcher the bible to pretend that your choice is somehow biblically superior to anyone else's, because it is not. Let us reason once more.
"It's no secret that many "Christians" are divided about politics: One argues, "How can Christians vote for Trump?" Another shoots back, "You can't be a Christian and vote Democrat!" And yet another grumbles, "How can you vote for either one?" To truly understand the division, we must remember three things:
1) Not everyone who claims to be a Christian is a Christian.
2) Many Christians have quenched and grieved the Spirit for so long that they lack discernment.
3) When we fail to make Scripture the final authority, we view politics through different lenses based on experience, ethnicity, faith, priorities, etc." - Shane Idleman
It is true that Christians are very divided over politics and they always have been in my lifetime. That is mostly because the church is in bed with the Republican Party and condemns anyone who does not lockstep to those candidates. Shane Idleman is just like that as well and has sold his soul for thirty pieces of political silver. Maybe he is aware he is deceitful or maybe he is deceived himself as the bible says. It matters not. The only thing that matters is how he abuses his position of authority within the church to further carnal political goals and how he butchers the bible in the process. Making scripture the final authority should result in realizing that neither party cares one whit about the cause of Christ. Jesus was completely apolitical during His time on earth. We are not charged with creating a theocracy, nor forcing others to behave better according to our interpretation of morality. God is not impressed beloved. Deciding to vote one way or the other, or not to vote at all, carries ZERO moral or spiritual implications. The garbage Shane is peddling here is the same old tired NAR dominionist nonsense. He is insisting that unless you vote for his guy, you have quenched the spirit, grieved the spirit, lack discernment and/or are merely claiming to be a Christian. How pathetically arrogant. Just pause to really digest what he is saying from a position of pastoral authority. In order to be a true Christian, you must cast your vote for a three times married three times unfaithful, including with a porn star, six times bankrupt man, convicted of rape and 34 other felonies. That is not a tacit endorsement of the other side either, just pointing out the utter stupidity and vacuous assertion that voting for his pre decided candidate determines if you are actually a Christian. How utterly disgusting.
When it comes to understanding the divide, three groups stand out:
Christians for Kamala - These people are often liberal, and although they claim that they are personally against abortion, they don't think it is the government's job to interfere. I doubt that God agrees with this position. They also claim that "loving your neighbor" means opening the border. But what about loving your family enough to protect them? This group claims that they supposedly put character over policy. "Trump is a felon!" is their constant mantra. However, those supporting Trump point out that if he was a Democrat none of this would be happening because the Biden family criminal allegations (all of which are worse than Trump's charges) are being completely glossed over." - Shane Idleman
Idleman's arrogance is staggering. I understand the passionate stand against abortion but the reality is that we can measure the success of policy. For example, since Roe as overturned, abortions have INCREASED. Facts do not matter to demagogues however. Shane doubts God does not agree with the position of not forcing people who do not believe in God to behave according to His word? That is because he is more concerned with electing his guy than adhering to scripture. The Republican Party line about advocating for open borders is nonsense as no one advocates for that. The truth is that Christians salivate over demonizing foreigners and that is very much spoken against by God in the bible. If you think when you stand before Christ, He is going to give you an attaboy for hating people who were not as blessed as you to be born in America, good luck with that. Shane really packs in the GOP talking points with the absolutely ridiculous charge that Biden is somehow worse than Trump when it comes to criminality. Realize that Trump is not merely charged, he has been convicted! By a jury of his peers, 34 times! That is not even counting the rape and defamation convictions. That does not even take into consideration the other three sets of felonies he is facing. Bearing false witness against your political enemy is not a Christian endeavor.
Conservatives for Trump - This group understands that God uses imperfect people. As to the charges against Trump's "character," they realize that they are not electing a Pastor-in-Chief but a Commander-in-Chief. This group doesn't buy into media spins and false narratives. They know that Trump is not a racist or a real felon, and that he is exposing the Left's wickedness.
They believe that Trump's character is not as important as the Left's approval of killing the unborn, allowing men to enter women's locker rooms, and turning a blind eye to trafficking children. They say, "Although character traits should be considered, we are not following people, we are endorsing policy to protect and to defend the nation." This group also looks at the solid Christians that Trump surrounds himself with versus Kamala who supports drag queens.
All people are imperfect! The candidate you hate and the candidate you love. None are righteous. The hypocrisy by the way is not lost on the world because prior to Trump's arrival, all the NAR leaders used to cry is "character counts." Just go check the rhetoric when Clinton was around. Then when they are faced with a completely morally bankrupt candidate, we started hearing this nonsense about not electing a pastor in chief. What does that even mean? So, the moral fabric of the candidate no longer matters? We are all Machiavellian Christians now? If the devil himself ran in 2028 but promised more Heritage Foundation Supreme Court justices, Franklin Graham and Shane Idleman would be saying, sure he is Lucifer, but c'mon, God uses imperfect angels! Perhaps the most laughable thing here is that Shane Idleman thinks the gaggle of false teachers Trump surrounds himself with are "solid Christians." His spiritual advisor was Paula White for heaven's sake! On her third marriage, to the former rock musician from Journey, White has stolen five million dollars from people seeking God through absolutely mangling the bible.
Angry MAGAs - This group shares the same concerns as the conservatives, but they can be more filled with anger than the Spirit. Most are simply tired of the Left's rhetoric such as, "Trump will destroy democracy and go after his political opponents." Ironically, that's exactly what the Biden administration did, and is doing, to Trump. Like conservatives, they know that the nation is in serious trouble and that something must be done. This group understands that America is weak and woke, and that we are drowning in a cesspool of moral filth. And if something isn't done soon, the hope of regaining lost ground is over. This is where Trump comes in " from securing our borders to protecting us from attacks.
Whatever. So, to escape the moral cesspool you advocate for turning to a man devoid of morality? C'mon Shane. The guy you are advocating for has SAID he will be a dictator! There is no grey area here! As I have said countless times before. Vote for who you feel led to vote for after prayer. Do not however listen to grievance hustlers and charlatans like Shane Idleman. Jesus is not going to be reviewing your voting record on Judgment Day. During His time on earth, the Jewish people were seriously oppressed by the Roman Empire. What did the Son of God do about it? Absolutely nothing because His kingdom is not of this earth. The NAR hucksters like Shane Idleman worship this world.
"The Silent Minority - To those who say we should stay out of politics, we must remember that God has given us the political process to make change. If there were no people making a difference, we would be no different than North Korea. Yes, obviously God is our help " but He often calls us to take action; hence the political process. We need to thank God for those who are making a difference versus shaming them. God gave every King a prophet in the Old Testament, for this very reason " to try and make a difference in the land." - Shane Idleman
There is a vast difference between "staying out of politics" and refusing to ruin your witness by conferring righteousness onto filthy carnal choices. God did not give us the political process. That is stupid. Man decides the political process. According to this logic then God gave Russia, China and North Korea dictatorships. He then must have also given the political processes in the Middle East that leads to Christians being martyred for their faith. How absurd. Do not ascribe the evil of man unto a holy God. Never in the entire bible did God call us to action politically. NEVER. He calls us to one thing and one thing only. The gospel. Do you remember the gospel, Shane? It sure does not seem like you do not. Your voting for your carnal candidate is not akin to God providing a prophet in the Old Testament. By the way, God did not provide prophets in the Old Testament to "make a difference in the land." He did so because there was no written word of the Lord yet. He spoke through the prophets to get Israel to repent. America, is NOT Israel and neither candidate is running on a repentance platform.
"We All Compromise to Some Degree - All sides are guilty of wanting their candidate in office so much so that they will overlook their shortcomings. For instance, a black Republican pastor I know who is voting for Trump told me that he must remain silent about his views or he'll lose his congregation. He added, "My members elect those who are best for 'our people'." But, shouldn't we vote for the one who is best for "all people"? And are you certain that voting for the Left is the best for "your people"?
Approval of the Apostates - None of us has perfect political views, myself included, but from my experience, it seems that most people in the Christians for Kamala group are either quenching the Spirit because of compromise or they are not looking at things through a biblical lens. In this group, many are not genuine believers. They have never repented of their sins and surrendered to Christ. The Bible refers to them as "apostates," especially the pastors who support abortion and the LGBTQ platform. Second Peter 2:2-3 says that "many will follow their depraved conduct and will bring the way of truth into disrepute" (e.g., think drag queen story hour, and rainbow flags on churches). And, "In their greed these teachers will exploit you with fabricated stories." Peter concludes, "Their condemnation has long been hanging over them, and their destruction has not been sleeping." God will not be mocked. We will reap what we sow." - Shane Idleman
How terribly racist. Why specify that this alleged pastor was black except to mock? Notice however that Shane finally gets around to flat out calling any Christians who may vote for Kamala Harris as not being really saved! This is right out of Mario Murillo and Greg Locke's playbook. Vote for my guy or you must be hell bound! Those that escape this judgment are deemed to have quenched the spirit because of all things - compromise! Trying to make biblical arguments for either sinful candidate is compromise! Look in the mirror Shane. You are that apostate! The lies, disinformation and bible twisting you wrapped yourself in is what brings disrepute to the church. The verses from Peter are the key verses above and speak to all false teaching. Not false political choices. False teaching! God does not care who we have determined to be the lesser evil. He just wants to know why we defend that evil so vociferously. More than half the talking points Shane has regurgitated here are completely fabricated. You are right Shane. God will not be mocked but that should be a source of comfort for you.
'Religion, Not Relationship - The other two groups also have unbelievers in their midst who have religion but not a relationship. They too must repent and genuinely seek God. This is the MAIN reason that we are divided " we are not united with the Spirit. God may be allowing this divide so we can apply His Word to our daily lives: "Quick to listen" and "slow to speak," as well as being gracious in our words and actions. Political views bring out the best and the worst in us. I know I'm a work in progress myself. Jesus warned that a house divided against itself cannot stand. We are witnessing this very thing happening in America. Christians must repent of their pride and anger, and the church must unite in submission to God before our country faces devastating damages from which it may never recover. The message of the prophets applies to us today: "Return to Me, and I will return to you."' - Shane Idleman
You think your words here have been gracious Shane? Disparaging black pastors. Lying about people you have never met. Consigning people to hell for not agreeing with your electoral choice? Returning unto God and repenting have nothing to do with who we vote for. Stop with the silly heretical notion of religion and relationship. There is NO relationship with Christ that is not centered on His word and His word is what created religion. The word religion is not a dirty word. False religion however is filthy. It is false religion that pursues carnality by wrapping it up in false piety. The true remnant, outside of the apostate church Shane serves in, is not divided. We know that who we vote for does not matter for the eternal kingdom of Jesus Christ. We know that God is on the throne this November 6th, and will not be caught off guard by any result. According to His permissive will He has raised up all world leaders and used them all, including their good ands evil traits, for His end and His purposes. In a few months vote by all means. Or do not vote. God does not care. Just stop pretending your choice is biblically superior to anyone else's. Stop letting people like Shane Idleman lie and gaslight you to co-opt your vote. This is not an endorsement of any candidate; just a call for the truth to reign supreme. Amen.
