One month to go and the uber-dominionst Steven Strang is leveraging his fake Christian media platform over at Charisma news extra hard to try and bully your vote for his chosen political messiah, Donald Trump. For the past few months, we have seen Charisma trot out lunatics like Greg Lock and Mario Murillo to say Democratic voters are going to hell. The once respected Jack Hibbs has jumped off the theological cliff by declaring that Christ will be standing at the pearly gates with our voting record in His hand, as if saving faith in Christ and the cross are no longer what constitutes a saved individual. Mix in a little Dr. Michael Brown demanding Republican votes, albeit in a nicer manner and you have the perfect storm of political idolatry being sold to the sheep. This past day saw two more articles, as the aforementioned lunatic Murillo has a new piece claiming God directly told him five warnings, should Kamala Harris be elected. Now, think about the sheer biblical stupidity of that statement. Is God somehow unaware of who is going to win this November? Does He or does he not see all time? Does He or does He not raise up all leaders and use them for His will? In addition to the Murillo piece, which we will deal with second, there was another article, the first one linked above, from someone at CBN about someone named Dr. Jeff Meyers. CBN is another bastion of dominionist propaganda and Meyers proudly calls himself the "leading worldview authority." Worldview is of course dominionist code-speak for voting Republican. I will start with Meyers only because he said some breathtakingly unbiblical and disturbing things. We will review the false prophecy from Murillo after. So, let us reason once more together.

One of the biggest mistakes Christians make, he said, is believing they are choosing between the "lesser of two evils." Myers wasn't suggesting there is a perfect choice. Rather, he argued, using that metric makes deciding who to vote for that much more difficult. Myers explained that Christians "really need to understand how to be good citizens in a time of tension," acknowledging it's a "truism" believers are voting for the "lesser of two evils," because it's granted in Scripture that every human being is born with a sinful nature (Romans 5:12). "People only run for president because they have an enormous ego," he said. "Instead of thinking of choosing between the 'lesser of two evils,' I think of my vote as 'lessening evil.' That's what I focus on."' - CBN, Via Charisma News

Clever attempt but quite transparent. The NAR has a problem. They exist now, solely as an extension of the Republican Party. In the past this was more aligned with false Christian teachings because they could always play the morality card. The problem is that now their candidate is the least moral person in American history seeking the presidency. Therefore, the lesser of two evils, risks people correctly determining that the man who has been unfaithful with all three wives, including one time with a porn star, might not be the lesser evil. So, Meyers job here was to try and dispel this by just saying, oh well, everyone is evil because of sin. While true, that is not the point. Thinking your vote is going to lessen evil, is the exact same thing as saying you are voting for the lesser evil. It is just linguistic semantics. What he is trying to do is get people to not focus on the individual person as a lesser evil and instead focus on what they promise, which he spins as lessening evil. Except, who the person is should matter to us greatly. This is the path we have been on since Franklin Graham, removed Mormonism from the Billy Graham list of cults because he wanted to co-opt your vote for Mitt Romney. Compromise breeds compromise. Not to mention that politicians rarely deliver on any of their promises. If the devil himself ran in 2028, the NAR would insist, hey we are not electing a pastor in chief! Meyers openly admits here that using the lesser of two evils makes the choice in November more difficult! Why is that? Because he knows his choice is not the lesser evil! It is not our job to be good citizens of this world beloved. The bible says we are citizens of heaven, present tense. God does not allow dual citizenship. Meyers then tries to pretend that life liberty and property are somehow all Christian values that can only point us to his candidate. Ugh. The most egregious part came when he absolutely eviscerates the bible:

'"The kind of government we have [in the United States] is a constitutional republic," said Myers. "And in a constitutional republic, the people are the rulers. That's very difficult for us to get our minds around. We just assume that whoever's running for president or mayor " those are the rulers " but that's not true." He went on to argue the correct interpretation of Romans 13, which tells believers they are to "be subject to the governing authorities," is that, within the American governmental context, Christians are called to participate in the political system. "Who are the governing authorities?" Myers asked rhetorically. "The people. So, in this situation " in the American context " if you are a Christian and you are not involved, you are literally disobeying God's admonition to be obedient to the governing authorities."' - CBN Via Charisma News

Now, that is a masterclass in bovine excrement. I provided the entire context of Romans 13 above as the key verses. It is beyond clear, that God is speaking about people in places of authority, the rulers. Yes, this is a constitutional republic but that means we elect people into those places of authority to rule us. What makes the American system special is that the power we have is in who we elect and if we do not like how we are being governed, then we can vote for someone else to be in those places of authority. Make no mistake beloved. We are not the rulers. That is an asinine, childlike interpretation of our governmental system. We choose the rulers; we are not the rulers. The inane conclusion that not voting is disobedience to God is laughingly dangerous. God does not care ONE WHIT about our carnal system of governance. His kingdom is not of this world actually means something. One can make a more credible, biblical case for NOT voting than for voting lockstep to one political party or the other. The NAR has a problem though. They know that the vast majority of Christians choose to not vote, and they need every vote they can muster. So, they try and convince you that up is down and not to believe your lying eyes when you see their idol or your lying ears when you hear scripture debunk them. Let us move on to Mario Murillo and the second link above.

'On a recent episode of "The Strang Report" podcast, hosted by Stephen Strang, evangelist Mario Murillo issues a stark prophetic warning about the 2024 U.S. presidential election, revealing that electing Kamala Harris would bring dire consequences for the United States. Drawing from the biblical story of 1 Samuel 8, in which Israel demands a king, Murillo parallels this historical event with the upcoming election, urging Christians to understand the severity of their choice. Murillo states that God revealed to him five specific dangers that will arise if Harris is elected. "God woke me up and said" 'I want you to make a prediction of what's going to happen if the election goes a certain way.' The first phrase I heard was 'daughter of lies,' the second phrase was 'there will be no going back from this,'" he says. The first consequence Murillo highlights from his dream is the loss of the nation's children. He points to Harris' association with "the most anti-parent radical individual in America," referring to Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz being selected as her running mate. "Our children will be confiscated," Murillo says, adding, "This is about the children."' - Charisma News

Uh-huh. So, the creator of the entire universe is worried if Kamala Harris gets elected. So worried that He told someone as biblically moronic as Mario Murillo, to "warn" the church. C'mon. At least try to not look ridiculous. The comparison to Israel choosing a king is ludicrous. Israel chose Saul instead of God! They no longer wanted to be a theocracy. America is not a theocracy. Choosing Trump is not godlier. It is not choosing God. The Lord did not "wake" Mario up. Maybe that was the late-night pizza he ate but it sure was not God. It is also a little rich to pretend that God said, "daughter of lies" when your political idol is literally the most lie-infested candidate in history. He just finished regaling us with absurd stories about Haitian migrants, who are our brothers and sisters in Christ, eating pets in Ohio. During his presidency, it is reported that Trump told in excess of 30,500 lies. Now, all politicians are inherently dishonest but to pretend that God is warning about the lies of Harris is the height of madness. There will be no going back from this? Again, doesn't God know already who is going to win? Children are not going to be "confiscated." These scare tactics are devoid of reality, especially considering that Walz would be the Vice President and as such, have very little impact. This is not about the truth, however. It is about power, greed and idolatry.

'Second, he warns that a Harris presidency will bring more war, pointing to the ongoing conflict between Ukraine and Russia. Referring to 1 Samuel 8, he says, "If you choose this bad leader, it's going to cost you your kids, and number two, it's going to take you into war." He asserts that Harris "can't stand up to the complex that wants war and wants our boys to go and die in battles we don't need."' - Charisma News

This reveals that Murillo is only trafficking in talking points instead of genuinely understanding something as complex as geopolitics. We have friends and enemies in the world. Russia is not our friend. Preventing Russia from invading sovereign nations, as they did in Ukraine, is what prevents further aggression that could lead us into war. What Murillo's masters are arguing, is Ukraine should just give up and give their own country to Russia. That will only embolden the aggressor country into being more aggressive and the next time, maybe we do have to send our boys to go into battle. Currently, we are not at war. We are aiding our ally against our enemy. Mario Murillo is woefully ignorant about these matters. The bad leader he supports idolizes the strongman, such as Vladmir Putin. That is not a good thing. It is not a Christian thing.

"The third consequence Murillo cites is a massive shift toward socialism. He refers to 1 Samuel 8 again, saying Harris will "confiscate your wealth and give it to her friends," claiming her policies will enrich elites while harming the middle class. "This is the finest concise description of socialism that has ever been written in the history of the world," he adds." - Charisma News

Please remember that 1Samuel 8 has nothing to do with this election. Charisma keeps citing it to try and apply a patina of Christianese so something entirely carnal. This economic scare tactic is also deceptive. Socialism is not some Christian boogeyman. Parts of our society are already socialist in nature. Jesus espoused socialistic policies. Capitalism is not God's divine preference. Stop mixing the holy with the profane. Kamala Harris is not going to confiscate your wealth! She will tax people at a higher rate who make 400,000 dollars or more. If that is you, even then your wealth is not being confiscated. You are being taxed, which according to the key verses is perfectly allowable by God. What Murillo is doing is gaslighting. The notion that between these two candidates the one who was born a billionaire and had everything handed to him only to declare bankruptcy six times is the defender of the middle class is hogwash. Trump just said last week that he hates overtime and joked with Elon Musk about Musk terminating people who were striking. Realize again that facts are irrelevant to Murillo. He has been given marching orders to steal your vote, so he is going to lie to do just that. There is only one "elite" running and Mario is trying to convince you that he is just joe average guy. How insultingly inane. How disgusting that he would try to wrap this pig up in the bible and pretend it is a crown.

"The fourth warning is the theft of productivity. Murillo argues that illegal immigration and unchecked social policies will drain American resources. "They're absorbing community funds that are being taken from your children, being taken from your job and your prosperity," he says." - Charisma News

More imaginary threats. The bottom line here is that we had a bill ready to go that would reduce the time needed for asylum hearings from seven years to six months. It was crafted by an uber-conservative republican Senator. Harris and the White House had said they would sign it. Except Murillo's candidate tanked the bill and ordered the Republicans to vote their own bill down so he could run on the issue. So, spare me the clutching of your pearls as if you care about immigration. Nothing is being taken from your children beloved and it has been decidedly unchristian how the apostate church has attacked our brothers and sisters who happen to have been born in another country. If you think Jesus would have built a wall or deported people, then you do not understand the gospel whatsoever. What we do for the least of these. This is what carnal politics do. They point out other people, who may look different than you. They may sound different from you. They may even worship different than you. Then they blame them. They tell you everything wrong in your life is because of them. They are stealing your jobs. They are taking your community funds. They are eating your pets. Hate them in the name of Jesus. It should be repulsive to believers.

Murillo urges Christians to act, insisting, "Not voting is a vote for Kamala." Only in the demented mind of an NAR dominionist is the "godly" choice the guy with 34 felony convictions, convicted of rape, six bankruptcies, three times unfaithful to three different wives, including one time with a porn star. The moral decay of this country and every country is always going to be progressing until Jesus comes back. It continued under the Trump administration and the Biden administration. That is just a biblical reality. Not voting is simply not voting. It does not mean it is secretly a vote for one or the other. Lastly here, how weak is the fake god you worship that we can lose His voice by anything man can do? This is at the heart of poor NAR theology that assumes we are somehow so important in God succeeding. God does not need our help beloved. He is God all by Himself. Christians can vote or not vote. We can vote for whoever we want without fear of spiritual retaliation. Charisma News and Mario Murillo are just servants of the Republican Party, trying to convince you that their choice is somehow God's choice. It is not. God already knows who is going to win and He will still use them for his own ends. Be not deceived and fall not for political hucksters twisting the bible for their own idolatry.
