In 2019 I did a devotional entitled, "Shawn Bolz Continues to Prophelie and Make a Mockery of the Holy Spirit." In it I specifically discussed his obvious grift of using social media to deceive people he was pretending to receive words of knowledge from God about. This was shortly after the Lou Engle bogus event called, "The Send," that included the likes of Heidi Baker, Todd White and Bill Johnson. In the devotional I outlined two specific fake words of knowledge Shawn provided at that event and how the information was gleaned from the registration for the event. I had covered Shawn before including his scam in 2017 when he was hawking an 8-week E-Course on Bethel TV about "translating God" for $50 and for another $200 you could buy a starter kit for such translation. In 2022, I covered Shawn declaring that God had showed him a secret "angel factory" located in the second heaven. Also in 2022, I reviewed his assertion that God was giving out "real estate anointings" to purchase haunted properties. There were plenty of other devotionals reviewing some breathtaking distortions of scripture. Then in December of 2024, I covered the story of a woman named Jubilee Dawn who had this fake word of knowledge grift played on her boyfriend of one month at the time and because they both believed Bolz gave them a direct word from the Lord that they were being brought together they quickly married. And he quickly started to abuse her horrifically, including spitting in her face and strangling her nearly to death.

Having obtained the personal information from the man's Facebook page, Bolz pretended to receive words of knowledge about his girlfriend's uncommon name and where she worked and he declared God was "giving her to him." This was the same grift we addressed six years earlier after The Send. This reveals the dire need and importance of the work discernment ministries do and why we should certainly test everything but actually do something to protect ourselves. Knowledge without application is useless. There is nothing more powerful and awe inspiring than believing you are within the will of God. The problem is there is nothing more dangerous than convincing you are within that will, when you actually are not. Jesus referred to it as convincing yourself that your darkness is light. To not have enough knowledge and understanding of His word to counter the lies we have been fed. We still see it even in the wake of these recent revelations. Just peruse the comments on Jubilee Dawn's video and see how people refuse to listen to common sense discernment and direct testimony. This is why it is so hard to leave a cult, which Bethel is. There are people defending Bolz still! One commenter was so sorry for what Jubilee went through but somehow chastised people who were calling Shawn Bolz a false prophet! Are you kidding me! What real prophet of God would do something so despicable as what Bolz did to Jubilee but other times be really hearing from the Lord? It just is not possible!

Others refuse to make the obvious connections to Bethel. Like ok, maybe Shawn is bad but Bill Johnson and Kris Vallotton are fine. No, they are not. There is no way Johnson and Vallotton did know the grift Shawn was pulling. They know because they pull grifts of their own. Every year Vallotton runs a fake week of prophecy school where he makes hundreds of thousands of dollars by lying to people that they are prophets. Bethel runs a false school of the stupidnatural where they charge thousands upon thousands of dollars to teach people how to manifest the gifts of the spirit in direct violation of scripture. It was recently revealed that Kris Vallotton was made aware of the scam Bolz was pulling off in 2020. While the texts reveal that Vallotton did make many in the Bethel leadership world aware about Bolz and forbid them from working with him, he refused to make any public statement. In the end, the brand always protects the brand. One text in particular is very revealing and disturbing:

"I am not going to take the role of going ministry to ministry and telling them Shawn was giving bad prophetic words. I don't have the time to do that." - Kris Vallotton

Please. We do not live in the 1890's. It would not take any time to tell the world the truth if you cared about his victims. Just do a video, as you routinely do to promote your grifts. The more disturbing thing here is the downplaying of what has occurred. Shawn Bolz was not giving "bad prophetic words." He was LYING. He was pretending to hear from the Creator of the entire universe and playing with people's lives! There was nothing prophetic! Now, we understand why Kris tried to tell Bethel folks but continue to allow this deception to the church at large and it all comes down to liability. First, there may be civil or criminal liability if they knew that someone they were promoting, platforming and employing, was knowingly deceiving people who were then hurt by that deception. They also would face liability within the apostate church system. They have a huge international brand that generates millions of dollars in revenue. If people could ever put the dots together to realize that Shawn Bolz did not happen in a vacuum, their whole house of cards could collapse. Bethel knew fine and well what he was doing and they not only allowed it but they encouraged it. Just like when Bill Johnson pretended to not endorse grave sucking but there were actual pictures of his wife engaging in just that. Just like when Bethel disavowed their dead raising team, which emanated from their congregation. The faux-spiritual sleight of hand is to promote from within heresies eight ways to Sunday while publicly decrying anything that garners scrutiny. Shawn Bolz is not unique. Jubilee Dawn is, in that the victims rarely speak out. Hopefully her courage will convince others to be courageous as well. That brings us to the above link, to Shawn Bolz ministry page, where he is trying to spin some damage control by releasing a "statement of prophetic integrity." Are you kidding me? Shawn Bolz never has been, and never will be prophetic. He has never had any integrity. He is a snake oil salesman grifting the church. Let us review some of this statement and reason once more together beloved:

As a ministry we would never condone and we would refute that we would ever find information online to prophesy over people. Because this has happened historically with a few individuals, there is a suspicion that has been created and we have been accused of this several times (specifically from 2016-2019) when we were traveling full time and modeling and teaching in the body of Christ how to pursue the spiritual gift of words of knowledge which hasn't had a lot of teaching around it up until this current generation. - Disgraced False Prophet Shawn Bolz

No Shawn. You do not get to pretend you have not done what we all know you have done. To do so only further victimizes Jubilee Dawn and all the other people you have lied to. People like Bill Johnson and Kris Vallotton need to be held to account as well. So does Steven Strang and Charisma News, who has continued to platform this charlatan over the years. We have no need to teach the body of Christ to pursue words of knowledge. God will either give them or He will not. Do not lose sight of this beloved. Shawn Bolz recognizes that his grift might be nearing an end if people stand up against him. He has apparently already lost the shield of being associated with Bethel, who are trying to protect their own scams.

"In 2019 there were a lot of questions about words of knowledge and the theology of the prophetic being directed at our ministry. These were important questions specifically around words of knowledge as well as some asking what are the boundaries of making prophetic predictions over relationships or finances. Because of these, we really wanted to define what we felt like would be the most healthy version of good boundaries and also clearly take a stand for what is a good word of knowledge. We decided to change some of the ways that I minister publicly as well as how our teams that we have sent out would minister to create safety and health. We as a ministry fight for the gifts of the Holy Spirit and their purpose in the body of Christ especially in the prophetic as part of what we think brings a well balanced Christian life.

We made several changes in our ministry team back in 2019 and my own personal public platform to help flow in the word of knowledge-gifting without having as much room for criticism and doubt. We want to share some of these commitments and protocols our ministry adopted to help others who want to help share the genuine prophetic gifts." - Absurd Huckster Shawn Bolz

Pay close attention because this is how you know Shawm Bolz is an absurd huckster and not concerned about the things of God. What is a "good word of knowledge? The entire premise is ridiculous because it is supposed to be a spiritual gift. Why would God, whom we are supposed to be serving, be in need of boundaries for the words He is giving? If God told Shawn Bolz that he was truly giving Jubilee to her boyfriend, there would be no reason why Shawn should have disobeyed what God had told him. The PROBLEM, was that Shawn was, what do we call that in the business? Oh, that's right - LYING. God never told him that at all and the details he had about the boyfriend were clearly data mined from his social media accounts. How do we know this? Because the boyfriend started spitting at her and strangling her once they got married! Notice the stated goal here for these changes. To avoid criticism! There was nothing genuine or prophetic about what Shawn Bolz has been doing since he has been "ministering." There was nothing prophetic or genuine when he was selling how to translate God for 200 bucks in 2017. There was nothing prophetic or genuine when he was harvesting people's social media data in 2018 and potentially ruining people's lives like Jubilee Dawn. There was nothing prophetic or genuine when he was pretending God showed him an angel factory in the second heaven in 2022. There is simply nothing prophetic or genuine about Shawn Bolz, Kris Vallotton, Bill Johnson, or Bethel Church is Redding California. So, his new found integrity when it comes to words of knowledge are listed as:

"We will not share any information that is obvious as a word of knowledge (meaning it can be found online like birthdays, anniversaries, peoples names, addresses) in our prophetic words. Ask God for what 1 Corinthians 14 says is the secrets of the heart. In this way people can have confidence that if a word comes it came from God. We will not share words of knowledge about someone's pain, relational issues, or anything negative publicly. It's easy to go to a place of inner healing or what is wrong, but if you are going to share these things in front of their family or friends it can put them in a bad light or cause misunderstanding. We will not share words of knowledge about resources or finances publicly because it puts pressure on exposing someone's condition to people who aren't involved. People who have money can be pursued wrongly, people who don't have it can become shamed." - Ridiculous Charlatan Shawn Bolz

Realize what is he is saying here. If God gives him a word about someone, he will first apply these standards to decide if he should share what God allegedly gave him. Who is God in that scenario? There should be only one standard, and that would be to not lie about hearing from God. I trust that God knows what is best, not Shawn Bolz. In the middle of this nonsense, Bolz has the gall to say, "If you prophesy something publicly that doesn't happen, take public responsibility somewhere that you can point people to who have questions." What about you Shawn! You gave a false word to Jubilee Dawn's boyfriend years ago that almost got her killed! Yet instead of taking public responsibility you put out this infuriating statement of integrity and led off by declaring you never did any of this! Beloved, you can read the rest of this statement for yourself if you wish because this is about as much of this disgusting sleaze I can tolerate in one sitting. Let me leave you with one more nugget from Mr. Prophetic Integrity:

"We have never had to correct our team in a big way for violating any of these standards because they are relational guards to keep everyone safe. Feel free to adopt them in your ministry team." - Fake, Fraud, Swindler Shawn Bolz

Keep everyone safe? Was Jubilee Dawn kept safe by you Shawn or did you almost kill her? Correct in a big way? Can you be any more subjective and vaguer? What does that even mean? Notice too that throughout this statement he always referred to himself in the plural and here at the end he speaks about needing to correct the team. You do not get to split the bill here Shawn. YOU are the public facing of this huckster ministry. Sure, if you had team members who knew you were fake and still helped you then they too will answer for their role. Make no mistake about it however - this is about you and what you have done. You are the one who used social media data to pretend God was speaking to you. I guarantee this beloved - Jubilee Dawn is not the only victim. She is just the one brave enough to speak up. There are always victims of false teachers and prophets - always. It is time for people to start paying mind to discernment ministries. While I am glad that this much public scrutiny is coming out in 2025, I started ringing the alarm bell in 2017. I was far from alone. Steve Kozar and Chris Rosebrough to name a few others were also exposing Bolz as the swindler he was. For ten years we have been ringing the bell about Dr. Michael Brown and look what the last two months have finally wrought. It was great that Mike Bickle's victims came forward this past year to expose who he truly was but we have been screaming the IHOP house was on fire for decades. I was writing about the murder of Bethany Deaton at IHOP in 2012. Certainly, we must do our own investigation and test everything but the fact that many people are still defending Bethel, Vallotton and Johnson after the Bolz revelations is the core of the problem. Heck, many are still defending Bolz! He wrote this statement because he knows he can play the marks he has always played. Let me break this down in the language of those who are still deceived. God has given me a word of knowledge. A shift in the atmosphere has allowed me to see into the second heaven. Ironically, the angel factory has been shut down. In its place is a huge neon sign that screams to you what to do with Bethel, Bill Johnson, Kris Vallotton, and Shawn Bolz. The sign screams:
