A laugh restoring hope

Brings light into the darkest life

You have made me feel again

To restore hope

To soothe, comfort

To bring back

That which was lost, or bruised

Or discarded in the trials of life

All of the glory of God is within you

His loving kindness

Mercy and love

Beauty and majesty

And saving grace

Amazing grace

Untold wonders of all of creation stand before us

Sunsets that defy words

Mountains and streams that silhouette

A portrait of He who made the heavens and earth

Whose hand spans the depths of the oceans

Who holds all time in His hand

See your name is engraved within His palms

It goes ever before Him

His wisdom and strength

Power and healing

And all that is good in this world

It is all for His glory and it is all in you

And I see it baby

I feel it within my spirit

I become closer to Him because of it

It overwhelms to the point of tears

Shakes the foundations of being

And leaves me on my knees praising Him

Crying out to Him

Thanking Him

Just for that small laugh that brings me all of this

All it takes is that small laugh from you

And I feel the glory of God all around me

And I want to hold it so close to me

Never let it go

But as soon as it is there it is gone

For it is like a vapor

If it lingered I could get lost in it

So I just wait for it again

Grace

Love and compassion

All that can be right in a world that is so horribly wrong

I just wait

To try again the next time

To hold onto that small laugh

And the glory of God I have in it.
