We have documented the silliness of false prophet Jennifer Leclaire before. Most recently when she rebuked a secular comedian for correctly exposing scam artist televangelists such as Kenneth Copeland and Mike Murdoch. It is a sad day when those in the world can easily discern who is false in the church while those in the church continue to embrace them. That of course is because wolves protect their own. So when John Oliver did his comedic expose Jennifer realized he was hitting too close to home. Momma's got to protect her shtick. Leclaire is one of many who have cashed in on the false signs and lying wonders movement. She openly supports and endorses 'some of the world's most renowned false teachers such as Bill Johnson, Mike Bickle, and Dutch Sheets. She was at one point, a regional director for the heretical International House of Prayer. She claims direct revelation from God and has made prophecies that have simply not come to pass as she said they would, rendering her false by the definition the Bible provides us. As an editor for Charisma News online, she has a public pulpit from which to cast her lies and today she crossed yet another line by shilling for the Republican Party in spreading absolute lies and innuendo about the current president of the United States.

Now let me be clear. You have every right to dislike the president. To disagree with him fundamentally on policies and issues. I know I do on many fronts. When we represent Christ however we are called to higher standard of truth than the world provides. The world presents everything as existing in shades of grey. Nothing is black and white to the world because they want to find room to excuse their sin and opposition to God. The Creator of the universe however is black and white. The truth is the truth and there are no shades of grey. Just read the key verse. One little proverb that reminds us that we should not allow crooked speech to escape our lips. We are to put devious talk far from us. This instruction is clear. We cannot behave in Machiavellian manners where we think the end justifies the means. God is infinitely more concerned with how we got somewhere than the fact that we arrived. Remember regarding these matters that above all else beloved God does not need our deceptive help:

Will you speak falsely for God and speak deceitfully for him?Will you show partiality toward him? Will you plead the case for God?Will it be well with you when he searches you out? Or can you deceive him, as one deceives a man?He will surely rebuke you if in secret you show partiality.Will not his majesty terrify you, and the dread of him fall upon you?Your maxims are proverbs of ashes; your defenses are defenses of clay. - Job 13: 7-12 (ESV)

So if you want to run down the president, call him "Barry", mock his wife, and propagate rumors that you know are lies deep down in your heart then just realize that we serve a God who says we will be held to account for every careless word. The sad thing is there is no need for the lies. There is no need for what Jennifer Leclaire abused her position at Charisma News today to do. To prop up one of the old tired lies about Barack Obama. That he is secretly a Muslim. This is a man who has been Christian his entire adult life. You can argue his Christianity is as liberal as many mainstream Christian denominations. You could argue that his minister Jeremiah Wright is too radical. What you cannot do is pretend that he only went to church for 30 years as a cover to his real faith because he knew he would be president one day and he would secretly take down the Christian foundations of this country from the inside out. This is not the movies. He is not the Manchurian Candidate. The entire premise is beyond asinine. How then do 43% of republicans still believe he is a Muslim, as Jennifer so kindly points out to us? Because people like Leclaire keep fostering the notion that this is somehow an unsettled area. Because people like Leclaire keep casting doubt upon the absurdity. Because people like Leclaire keep lying. Here are some whoppers from this hit piece:

"I'm surprised that number isn't higher, given he publicly spoke to ABC's George Stephanopoulos about his "Muslim faith."

This is a thoroughly debunked lie from when Obama was running against John McCain. Obama was responding to a line of questions regarding the attacks from McCain subordinates who were floating this garbage about his faith. Obama's response included the line that he had not heard McCain himself talk about his "Muslim faith" as others had. He was defending McCain, not saying he was Muslim. Anyone with an Internet connection and third grade comprehension skills can tell that. The fact that this doesn't matter to Jennifer Leclaire tells you all you need to know about her. She is either entirely too dishonest to representing Christ or too stupid to have this kind of platform.

"If you type "is Obama a Muslim" into Google you get over 45.7 million results -- that's a lot of "proof."

At this point I am concerned that Jennifer may not actually understand how search engines work. So if you search for the most known man on the planet with one of the top three religions you are surprised that there are 45 million hits? Are you really? Let's play a game. Let's see what happens when you combine two popular things in one search:

Pope Francis is a Muslim -- 45,300,000 results

Obama is Christian -- 88,000,000 results

Now here is the thing beloved. It is irresponsible enough to discuss the amounts of search results as a way of inferring something is worth discussing but Leclaire goes beyond that. She makes the direct assertion that the amount of results infer truth on some level. Proof as she calls it. How deceptive she is being! According to her logic, there is more proof that Pope Francis is a Muslim than there is for Barack Obama! Not only that, but more than double the amount of people who mistakenly think Obama is a Muslim actually believe the truth that he is a Christian. Does that then "prove" he is Christian? I am starting to be very concerned that Leclaire may not have the intellectual chops to be an editor anywhere"I know, let's see what the prophet Google says!

Jennifer Leclaire is an idiot -- 402,000 results

I don't know; that's a lot of proof! Now of course 402,000 people do not think she is an idiot because most have never heard of her outside of the Christian-political sphere. This was just to highlight dishonest idiocy of using the amount of search engine results as proof of anything. While these reasons so far should be enough to utterly dismiss her as a serious person to consider, she was not done lying by a longshot. She presented five examples of things that would cause one to "question his profession of Christ."

1) On 2012 Obama said to the UN that the future must not belong to those who slander the prophet of Islam.

2) In prepared remarks, Obama once said that the US had been "enriched by Muslim Americans. Many other Americans have lived in a Muslim majority country. I know, because I am one of them."

3) Also in 2012, Obama apparently once referred to Christ as "a" son of God instead of "the" only begotten Son of God.

4) Bowing to the Saudi King.

5) The "fact" that his wife does not travel with him to Muslim nations because Sharia Law demands women cover their heads.

Let us work backwards through these and remember they are presented as reasons to question the profession of Christ of President Obama. Number five is what is known as a lie. It started as many of these lies do, as a lying email that people forward to everyone they know. The claim arose years ago, after Michelle Obama had reportedly cut short her part of a trip as the President was heading to Turkey and then Saudi Arabia. Two problems. First of all, not all Islam is the same. Turkey for example is a very secular Islamic society, which does not require women to cover their heads. As for the alleged stop in Saudi Arabia, it was not even on that trip. It was simply made up. Yet there were Christians gleefully forwarding this email scourge, not caring if people now looked upon them as liars and Christ less favorably. By the way, as a visiting head of state, Michelle would not be required to cover her head anyway so the entire premise was a lie. Yet years later, Jennifer Leclaire is still pimping it.

Just like she is still pimping the misrepresentation of the Obama bow to the Saudi King. Did he really bow? Sort of because that is the international custom. Just like George Bush did before him and even Richard Nixon. And Bush claimed Jesus Christ was his favorite "philosopher." So in the warped mind of Jennifer Leclaire, showing respect to a foreign head of state that every president before him had done is enough to question his profession of Christ? Wow. When it comes to number three though I think Leclaire is just muddying the waters. When speaking to clergy once, Obama was drawing a distinction between the divinity of Jesus and His humanity and said the following, "It's also a chance to remember the tremendous sacrifice that led up to that day, and all that Christ endured -- not just as a Son of God, but as a human being." Now I find it odd that a Muslim would be getting into such finer Christology as the humanity versus the divinity of Christ but more importantly this looks like a moment of inarticulateness, not willful snub to the fact that Jesus is the "only begotten" as Leclaire whined about. Only where the president is talking to Christian leaders and referencing Jesus Christ's divinity can the Leclaires of the world be hung up on the usage of "a" instead of "the." Methinks thou protest too much.

The first two quotes I lump together. President Obama is not president of Christo-stan. He is president of what essentially is Babylon. I know many Christians think this is a godly Christian nation but it is not and it never was. Put down the Jonathan Con books and Todd Starnes articles and realize that there are other beliefs in this country. Our job is not to stick our thumb in their eye and tell them they are wrong. That is certainly not the job of the President of the United States. Do we honestly think the president should come out in favor of slander? That is a false spoken statement? If you think that you better read the key verse again. Let no crooked speech escape our lips! Is he supposed to pretend that there has never been a Muslim American who contributed to our secular society? We need to be very careful that we do not listen to the lies of the enemy who keeps selling us hate of other people who think differently than we do. Spreading the Gospel is not slandering people and lying about the President of the United States. And beloved do not lose sight that what Jennifer Leclaire tried to do was sell these innocuous events as reasons to question the profession of Christ by Barack Obama. How utterly irresponsible!

Yet there is Jennifer Leclaire. A woman already debunked and exposed as a false prophet judging the "fruit" of a man she has never met. Doing so not with the truth but with enough shades of grey to make us forget she espouses to be Christian herself. In her conclusion she even alludes to the possibility of Obama actually being the antichrist! So apparently not only does she not understand basic doctrine and prophecy but eschatology escapes her as well. No Christian fruit? I guess in the age where we wink and nod at Christian leaders on their third marriage we scoff at the fact that our president has managed one successfully, while raising two children.

But this is not an infomercial for the President. There are plenty of legitimate reasons to disagree with him on substantive policy issues and matters of faith. There is no need to create things that are not true. There is no reason to spread lies and innuendo. It damages our witness for Christ because at a bare minimum, Christians ought to stand for the truth. Not what 43% of people might think is the truth but rather the actual truth. Not what 41,000,000 search results may or may not infer -- but rather the actual truth. This is the actual conclusion to Leclaire's assassination:

So is Obama the antichrist? Is our Commander-in-Chief a Christian? Is he the first Muslim president? The debate continues.

Yes the debate does continue Jennifer. It continues in the minds of 43% of republicans who so desperately want to fit this false narrative into their worldview. Where all Muslims are evil and all presidents are white. It continues in the minds and hearts of the wickedly deceived who somehow think the Mormon was the righteous choice in the last election. People who keep looking to man instead of to God. Who like living in Sodom so they are desperately trying to save Sodom. More importantly Jennifer the debate continues because irresponsible people like you keep propping it up. You keep pretending that recycling old lies will somehow resonate with people as truth and who can blame you! There are 43% of republicans who have bought your lies. How truly sad and unfruitful.

Beloved, if you want to dislike our president, go right ahead. If you want to protest him, go right ahead. If you want to disagree with his policies on any issue go right ahead. That is one of the perks of living in the greatest country today. Barack Obama has given Christians enough legitimate reasons to disagree in an agreeable manner. As would any other candidate I might add. But if you are going to wear the mantle of a follower of Jesus Christ then you must begin with the understanding that truth is paramount. God does not need you to lie for Him. He does not need you to recycle other people's lies either. He does not need you to consult the great oracle Google to buttress your untruths either. Let's do one last check in with the great Apostle Google"
