Therefore thus says the Lord God: "Because you have spoken nonsense and envisioned lies, therefore I am indeed against you," says the Lord God. "My hand will be against the prophets who envision futility and who divine lies; they shall not be in the assembly of My people, nor be written in the record of the house of Israel, nor shall they enter into the land of Israel. Then you shall know that I am the Lord God. -- Ezekiel 13:8-9 (NKJV)
A major plank in the platform of the NAR and the apostate church is a focus on false signs and lying wonders. This is largely driven by what we refer to as the false prophet brigade. They exist solely to generate money and power for themselves. They prop each other up to give the appearance of street cred. For example, the Calamari Queen, Jennifer LeClaire is under the "covering" of James Goll. That means she pays Goll tribute (cash) to be able to claim that she is held accountable by Goll, who is equally false. Conversely, LeClaire then sells her own covering for up and coming false prophets directly from her website. For about $400 per year, you can claim covering and accountability from LeClaire. This brigade then spreads out across the world doing prophetic conferences and speaking at local assemblies to promote ands protect the brand.
Before getting to the upcoming new year it is important to remember what the role of a prophet is supposed to be. Nowhere in the Old Testament do you see multiple prophets providing different "words" to the people of Israel. Why? Because God is not schizophrenic. He does not have multiple personality disorder. So if Elijah provided a word from the Lord you never saw Elisha come on top of that word saying God told him something different. The only time you see conflicting words is when a true prophet is speaking opposite of what false prophets have spoken, such as Micaiah and Jehoshaphat. The king had 400 false prophets with a lying spirit tell him to go to war. Only Micaiah told him what God really said. I say this as a backdrop to our annual theater of the absurd as the NAR false prophet brigade have all released their words for 2020, so buckle up beloved.
I like to start with something sweet, so let's go with Morris Cerullo Ministries declaring 2020 will be a year of honey. Not obscure enough? Try Katie Parker who claims God said that 2020 will bring new alignments and opening doors. You don't understand what God is saying there? Don't worry, Kathy DeGraw, the "Prophetic Deliverance Minister", says 2020 is the year we don't have to figure it all out. Whew! That is a relief because Kathy seems confused as well releasing two different prophetic words that seem oppositional themselves. The second one being that 2020 is the year of the dividing line.
Kathy DeGraw is not the only false prophet who released multiple prophecies on different days. Joe Joe Dawson claims that 2020 will be a season of accelerated glory and things that were foggy will now become crystal clear. Thank goodness because who else can testify to the danger of accelerating in glory when it is still foggy out? Reverend Betty King says that God claims 2020 will be the year that God will break down the walls of division in the church and Patricia Bootsma says we better prepare for a billion-soul harvest in 2020! Not to be outdone in hyperbole, Kim Potter prophesies that because it is 2020 our inheritance is now! Seems like we will need it as Ryan LeStrange, yes that is real name, claims the entire upcoming decade as one of forward motion! Tim Sheets says we are entering into a new era of glory. Tim Cameron says that the Holy Spirit is bringing us a fresh anointing to be ambassadors for Christ. Heck, even Dr. Michael Brown entered the fray, although careful to say these are not "prophetic" words. Nevertheless he declares that 2020 will be a year of chaos but also a year of clarity.
That is over 10 different prophecies from 10 different sources over the same two-week period, prophesying about the same time frame -- 2020. Is God divided? Mind you, all of these came from the same source -- Charisma News. Does God have ten separate messages for His people that required ten different people to deliver? This makes a mockery of prophecy and is a good reason why many have chosen the path of cessationism. This lunacy is not lost on the world either because these people claim God SPOKE these things to them. So many in the apostate NAR church structure chase a word from the Lord and yet refuse to open their bibles. Instead they latch onto one or more of these charlatans. Who doesn't want accelerated glory, clarity and permission to not have to figure it all out with a side of honey!
In all seriousness, God is not amused and will not be mocked. These people are waterless rain clouds. They are fig trees filled with leaves but barren from fruit. They will be cursed as such. As the key verses state from the days of Ezekiel, they have spoken nonsense and envisioned lies. God is against them for falsifying His word. They will not be in the assembly of His people because His people know His voice. Their words shall not be recorded and will blow away as the chaff they are. Then You will know that I am the Lord God. Amen.
