Charisma News Almost Does the Right Thing

Beloved, Jesus did not teach us to go to wolves privately and ask them politely to stop eating the sheep of the Lord. He further did not teach us to then take the wolf matter before the church if they refused to stop being a wolf. This entire solution is absurd and unbiblical. Mike Shreve's responsibility is to the sheep, not the wolf. His responsibility as a shepherd is to pick up the rod and bludgeon the wolf until it leaves the sheep alone. Now that this website has refused to take down errors of Universalism and Pantheism it is time to do as the Bible commands and mark it. To recognize that it is against the Word and will of the Lord. To steer people away from it and not towards it.

As we know we must do with Charisma News. Even though it came close to doing the right thing today it still fell a mile away from solid orthodoxy. On the same front page that this story appeared so did a ridiculous prophecy about God killing NFL players in 2018. Charisma News remains a cesspool of everything wrong with Pentecostal doctrine today. This is not about needing a deeper revelation of the Spirt beloved. It is about respecting the revelation of the Spirit already given to us by God in His Word.
