It goes even deeper than that however. Pawlowski refused to adhere to guidelines the law set out for public gatherings. In doing so, he spits in the face of law enforcement and teaches his sheep to do the same. If we do not like the way government is behaving there are legal remedies as well as the power of the vote. Not only did Pawlowski disobey but he did so maliciously, and made sure to publicize his disobedience when the police showed up at his church to try and talk to him, he responded as such:
"I don't care what you have to say, out! Out of this property, you Nazis. Out! Gestapo is not allowed here. Do not come back, you Nazi psychopaths. Unbelievable sick, evil people. Intimidating people in the church during the Passover. You gestapo Nazi communist fascists!" - Artur Pawlowski
There's the heart of Jesus in action, eh? Comparing men and women doing their job to the Nazis, responsible for the deaths of 11 million Jews is beyond sick. You must understand though that Artur Pawlowski is no pastor. He is the hireling the bible speaks of. He is a political operative disguised as a preacher. When arrested on the tarmac for outstanding warrants, he had just returned from touring the United States for four months, meeting with far-right political operatives, former president Donald Trump's son, disgraced general Michael Flynn and holding speaking engagements where he spread lies about COVID and vaccines. LeClaire continues:
"Canadian authorities' arrest of faith leaders and seizure of church property, among other enforcement activities, appear to constitute systematic, ongoing and egregious violation of religious freedom," said Hawley. "I urge the Commission on International Religious Freedom to take whatever action is necessary to address and rectify this situation, and consider adding Canada to the Commission's Watch List." We need to pray. In December, Awakening Prayer Hubs is adopting the nation of Canada. We're targeting highly focused prayers on the nation, which has seen revivals in the past. We're believing God can sweep through Canada with a fresh outpouring that wakes the nation up and turns hearts back to the one true living God." - Jennifer LeClaire
Despite the political garbage spewed by Hawley the truth remains far simpler. The Canadian government had rules during COVID regarding public gatherings, as did this country. Many pastors in the purpose driven church generation realized they were going to get crushed by missing the opportunity to collect tithes and others simply followed the playbook of their political masters to start disobeying the rules under the guise of religious freedom. Never mind that untold numbers of congregants caught COVID and died as a result. Just this week Marcus Lamb of Daystar Television died from COVID after denying its existence and decrying vaccines for two years. The month before that it was pastor Loren Sandford. The notion that the Commission on International Religious Freedom would add Canada to their watchlist is insulting to real sufferers of religious persecution across this world. They monitor countries that routinely engage in genocide over religion, not countries that ask churches to socially distance during a pandemic. LeClaire's phony prayer hubs are adopting Canada? Good luck with that. The rest of the article from Jennifer are prayer points she apparently has come up with. I will highlight just a few.
"Pray the church in Canada is restored to her first love in Jesus Christ, seeking Him with fresh passion and as first priority. Pray believers in the nation are renewed to knowing and releasing the power of the cross, the gospel message and Kingdom mission (Revelation 2:4; Matthew 6:33; Philippians 2:2)" - Jennifer LeClaire
You can hold Jesus Christ as your first priority and protect your neighbor from a deadly virus. The fact that there was a 30% drop in self-identifying Christians after Toronto means they very well may have understood the power of the cross and gospel message and that barking like a dog in church service wasn't it.
"Let unity come to the body of Christ in Canada. We bind all hindering and religious spirits that would resist the next great move God in Canada (Colossians 2:2; 2 Corinthians 13:11). We bind every hindering and harassing spirit working through government leaders to halt access to public worship (Romans 14:13; 16:17)." - Jennifer LeClaire
