Jesus often lamented, why do you bother to call me Lord if you refuse to do as I say? You do not get to pretend that your compromise of the Gospel is "all for Jesus." Many of the mega church pastors would point to the size of their congregation as proof that the Machiavellian model is blessed by God but that is not God giving the increase. That is a man-made scheme to try and lure in people with the carnality they revel in. The problem is that what you convince someone to come in with is what you will need to keep them. If it is the real Gospel that drew them then Christ will keep them. If it was your egg hunts and Easter Bunny photo-ops then you better get your "Harvest Party" plans rolling for Halloween cause you're going to need them.
