Lastly in verse 58 we see why we are to give ourselves fully; because we know that our labor in the Lord is not in vain! God sees all. He sees your faithfulness in the times of struggle. He sees your stewardship in the face of adversity. He has placed you in your ministry for a purpose. That purpose may seem small to the finite mind of man but to God, your service is never in vain.
Where do you stand today in ministry? Have you felt yourself drifting? What is God speaking to your heart? Do you need to stand firm and not be moved? Do you need to recommit yourself to giving fully to the Lord in your service? Every part of the body is essential. Don't believe the scheme of the enemy to sow discord by thinking that your ministry is unimportant. God has arranged the parts of His body for the purposes He has set out. Your labor is never in vain as long as your heart is set on serving Him fully.
