You remember the Gospel don't you? The thing you covenanted with when you accepted your calling to preach. The only thing that is the power of God unto the salvation of men. The lost do not need three sermon points and a cloud of dust. They do not need a seven part series on how to have more influential relationships or a three part sermon on improving their sex life. They do not need your smoke machines and fancy light shows. They do not need to hear the latest life lessons from Star Wars or secular club music during worship. They do not need you in skinny jeans, showing off your tattoos, relating to the very sins they desperately need to be saved from. They do not need your false jesus. The one who cannot save them. They do not need to find their purpose - they need to find their Savior. They certainly do not need 30,000 pastors to unite for a reason that completely misses the point about what they actually need. The one thing we should unite around. The one thing they do need. The Gospel.

Reverend Anthony Wade - February 6, 2016
