When the Apostate Church Leads the Call for Unity

By       (Page 2 of 3 pages)   No comments

Overall, these four forces combine to equip the church to do the work of ministry -- which is the Gospel. They are responsible for building up the body of Christ until when? Until we all reach unity. Any old unity? Hardly. Unity is described as twofold. First we must have unity in faith. What we believe we must all believe. The second unity however is unity in doctrine, or as the Bible says here the knowledge of the Son of God. Why? Why is this important to God? So that we might mature to the measure of the stature of fullness of Christ. That we would no longer be like children tossed to and fro by the waves of false doctrines, by human cunning and by deceitful schemes. Here is the sad truth today beloved. The vast majority of television preachers today are selling you false doctrines, human cunning and deceitful schemes but the body of the church are either falsely converted or so weak spiritually they cannot tell the difference between edification and being tossed to and fro by every new wind of doctrine. It is no wonder that the devil has his counterfeits at work in all four of these areas:

False Prophets -- it is not surprising that one of the most lucrative areas within the apostate church is in false prophecy. These charlatans have turned what is supposed to be direct auditory revelation from God into cheap clairvoyance and psychic parlor tricks. The church is constantly chasing something new and fresh instead of what is tried and true. You want to hear a word from God? Pick up your Bible! The apostate church structure, such as the NAR, encourage this falseness and normalize it. They claim if you can get to 65% accuracy then you are a pretty good prophet! False! Anything short of 100% means you are a liar or grossly deceived and should be marked either way to be avoided. Prophecy is claiming to have heard directly from God and God does not stutter. He is not ambiguous.

False Evangelists -- realize beloved that not everyone involved in the apostate church knows full well what they are doing. They have been taught a certain way and instead of doing the work of a Berean, they blindly accept what leadership says. The Bible teaches us that only the uncompromised Gospel of Jesus Christ has the power of God unto the salvation of men. If you bring a false gospel to the lost then you do not convert anyone. Jesus rebuked the Pharisees for such:

Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For you travel across sea and land to make a single proselyte, and when he becomes a proselyte, you make him twice as much a child of hell as yourselves. -- Matthew 23: 15 (ESV)

The Pharisees had zeal about what they believed in but there was no unity in their doctrine to God. It was false. We see this in the church today constantly. The reason always given for compromising the Gospels is to "reach as many for Jesus" as possible. That's a bunch of malarkey. Duplantis plea for the 54 million dollar plane was to reach as many countries he could for the Gospel. The problem is that Jesse Duplantis does not preach the Gospel. He preaches the damnable heresy of word faith and the demonic doctrine of uber-prosperity. We exported our apostate church to Africa and now it is just as polluted as ours. Half of the top ten richest pastors in the world are from Africa, the poorest continent. Let that sink in.

False Shepherds -- This is the staple product of the purpose driven church. In this book Rick Warren teaches up and coming pastors that their new role is that of a CEO vision caster. He teaches that if people disagree with the new vision and system then they should encourage those people to leave! Andy Stanley is actually on record as saying that we should no longer use the term shepherd because it is no longer culturally relevant. Never mind that it is biblically relevant! As a CEO, the pastor's job revolves around the finances of the church he leads. As a shepherd, it revolves around the spiritual maturity of his flock. One matters to God and the other to the flesh. The Bible warns us about this form of attack:

The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy. I came that they may have life and have it abundantly. I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd lays down his life for the sheep. He who is a hired hand and not a shepherd, who does not own the sheep, sees the wolf coming and leaves the sheep and flees, and the wolf snatches them and scatters them. He flees because he is a hired hand and cares nothing for the sheep. I am the good shepherd. I know my own and my own know me, just as the Father knows me and I know the Father; and I lay down my life for the sheep. -- John 10: 10-15 (ESV)

The thief is not the devil; it is the false shepherd. He is the hireling beloved. He does not care for the flock. When they are attacked he sides with the wolves. The apostate church today is nearly overrun with hirelings posing as shepherds. This is how the church will lead the way to take the mark of the beast. Do you honestly think that the Joel Osteens and TD Jakes of the world will stop you from taking the mark? How else can you buy their next book?
