Let every person be subject to the governing authorities. For there is no authority except from God, and those that exist have been instituted by God. Therefore whoever resists the authorities resists what God has appointed, and those who resist will incur judgment. -- Romans 13:1-2 (ESV)

The NAR dominionist agenda does not care about the cause of Jesus Christ. Their gospel is about preserving this world. It is about enhancing their position and power within this world. It is a similar situation that the Pharisees faced in their day. Even though they were an occupied and oppressed people, within the subculture of Judaism, the Pharisees had all the power. They had all the fame and notoriety. They used their religion to further this power and to prevent the loss of it. Along comes this carpenter from Galilee healing the sick and giving hope to the poor. Worse than that He claims to be the Savior they have all been looking for to deliver them from the oppression of Rome. The Pharisees saw the end of their reign and they decided to kill Him.

The NAR recognizes that they too are in power within a religious subculture. They are the famous ones. They are the ones everyone wants to see at conferences and mega-churches. They have the book deals and television shows. They know that within the world, they are just one of many influences but the NAR is determined to change that. Make no mistake about it beloved; the seven mountains mandate is not about spreading the Gospel to the world as much as it is about spreading their influence and power into the world. Now you see the NAR powers that be in the Oval Office, praying for the president. You see their influence spreading within the business realm with the "my pillow" inventor speaking in the Rose Garden yesterday espousing false NAR talking points. You see their influence spreading into the entertainment sphere with Christian movies thinly veiled to distribute NAR theology, not the Gospel. Sure they have the cover because there is always the air of piety but again, it is the NAR theology gaining the influence. The cause of the Gospel is not helped one iota by the fact that a raving heretic like Paula White is an advisor to the president yet many Christians consider this a positive development.

With this as the backdrop we fast forward to this week when I was sure the moronic Charismaniac award of the week was going to go to Kenneth Copeland for declaring that COVID was over! He declared it was over immediately! Odd since when it turned on my television today it sure doesn't seem over. Apparently, Copeland was playing another round of "Can You Top This Crazy" with fellow heretic Rodney Howard Browne and I think the award has to go to Browne. Now let us make sure we understand who we are dealing with here. Copeland is among the chief heretics on the planet and claims to have made over a billion dollars by robbing the people of God. He had just come out last week and ordered Christians to continue paying their tithes even if COVID costs them their jobs. He and his wife have claimed they have ended previous worldwide flu epidemics without proof. They claim they can literally control the weather.

Rodney Howard Browne has a more detailed resume in crazyville. He is one of the forerunners of the holy laughter debacle. This stain on the history of Christianity saw people rolling around in the aisles of their churches laughing uncontrollably pretending it was the Holy Spirit causing it. Perhaps Brown is most infamously known for perpetuating the insane heresy of being drunk in the spirit. He in fact calls himself the holy ghost bartender. It seems that this past week Browne decided he was going to extend his middle finger to the law enforcement responsible for the area his church is in down in central Florida. It seems Hillsborough County had issued a stay at home order due to COVID and had warned church lawyers to not hold the planned Sunday services. Browne defied these orders and held service anyway, with an approximate attendance of 500 people. Then he used his service, his alleged holy desk, to spread lies, disinformation and absolutely dangerous NAR conspiracy theories.

Always referring to COVID as a phantom plague, Browne claimed that it was created by the Chinese government and that the communist run media created the panic about it to benefit the money cartel that has made billions from the collapse of the US economy. Yeah, I am sure that is why Jesus went to the cross -- so this blathering idiot can use the pulpit to push this garbage. Not done, Browne spewed on:

'"So you produce this plague, you bring it into this country, and then it doesn't have to be everywhere because the more they test, the more they'll find people positive," he said. "There's a 75 percent chance that the positive [test] is actually a negative, and that's the problem. The testing is not verifiable."' -- Rodney Howard Browne
