The Aimless Zeal of NAR Revival Chasers -- "No Sermon was Preached"

So from that day on they made plans to put him to death. -- John 11:53 (ESV)

The New Apostolic Reformation (NAR) is a dominionist focused theology. They are apostate by nature, which means they have fallen away from sound theology and wandered off into myths. They worship this world because of the sin and excess it allows while pretending to be "above it." When Jesus walked the earth the Pharisees had all of the religious power, even within an oppressed society. They were the most respected. They held all of the desired seats at the banquets. They prospered materially. That is why when a young carpenter from Galilee showed up preaching that He was the Son of God and healing everyone they viewed Him as a threat to all they had. It was in fact after the raising of Lazarus from the dead that these men worried that if they allowed His ministry to continue that everyone would end up following Him. That is where we find the key verse for today. After performing a miracle over death itself, those with the religious power decided from that moment on that He could not be afforded to live.

Fast forward to today and those with all of the religiosity power are the apostate church, the false prophet networks and the NAR. They love this world as the Pharisees before them because they have the most desired seats at the banquet. The purpose driven heresy has made them the most respected and the cult of personality pastors that everyone reveres. They get the mega churches, mega-mansions, and lucrative book deals. That pesky carpenter from Galilee is still there though, poking holes in their falseness and leading people away from their darkness and into His glorious light. So the powers that be will stop at nothing to silence the truth in favor of their preferred paradigm of conquering seven imaginary mountains of culture, starting as always with the government.

Most however will not rally around the message if it were strictly political so they put lipstick on their pig. They instead convince the masses that we are all chasing "revival." True revival means an increased desire for the things of God. There was the Great Welsh Revival of 1904 followed closely by Azusa, which ushered in the current Charismania we see today. These of course were revivals within the church, as they are supposed to be. The problem is that decades of seeker friendly church theories and self-centered sermons has created an entitled and bloated apostate church that cannot see themselves as anything less than Joel Osteen says they are. So the focus of this coming revival is now placed on the world. The same world that the bible tells us the things of God are foolishness to. So the truth they never own up to is that the bible never promises this grand end times revival they chase. In fact, it promises a great end times apostasy and the NAR is actually leading that phenomena. Lets us briefly see this NAR, apostate, revival chasing mindset in the short article linked above.

"I've heard it said many times lately that revival is coming. I believe that to be true. In America, you can feel it in the air. It's almost tangible. Whether it's the magnification of the fear and unrest that we have been feeling as a country or the idolatry of a political spirit that is attempting to suffocate our everyday lives. No matter the culprit, it's obvious to me that a unifying agent is needed to bring us out of our current state and into God's glorious plan for His people." -- Michael McIntyre

So the protests and police killing citizens leads you to believe revival is on the way? The utter divisiveness in this country makes you believe revival is coming? Let me explain why it is not. The church could have been the vehicle through which God could have delivered revival for the lost citizens of this country, but the problem is that the church took sides. The NAR dominionist church picked winners and losers. They declared one half of America righteous and the other half evil. I have seen absolutely absurd posts from local pastors declaring that no true Christian could support the Democratic Party. From the get-go, consigning half of the people to hell over carnal politics. Alienating half the people that need the Gospel message. Worst of all, conferring righteousness upon the Republican Party when they are just as evil. It is ironic hypocrisy that McIntyre decries the idolatry of a political spirit while supporting people who completely idolize their political spirit.

"First, I think it only makes sense that, if we are truly about to see a next great move of God, we would first be in a state of chaos and unrest. I believe one of the purposes of revival is to bring a solution to those two issues. When revival comes, Jesus will bring order to the chaos and pandemonium that the world promotes. He will align the hearts of the people who call on His name with the ever-loving, gracious heart of the Father. He will also bring rest to the souls of the spiritually worn out and tired. When the world has done all it can do to make us weary, the revived heart will find energy to move forward and the strength to press through." -- Michael McIntyre

Because the NAR is not constrained by scripture, they are free to simply fabricate what they feel as being scriptural or pious when it is neither. For the discerning Christian, it makes sense that the next move of God will be in response to prayer and repentance of His people. Unless we are talking about the next judgment of God. Be very wary of what McIntyre is selling here. Revival for the NAR has nothing to do with the church but everything to do with the world. Jesus will bring order to the chaos of the world? Says what verse? The purpose of revival has nothing to do with this world and it certainly has nothing to do with aligning with the hearts of apostates or giving rest to heretics.

"Another sign that points to a nearing wave of revival is the urgency in many leaders to train and equip the saints. I believe God is positioning His bride for the work that will be necessary when the harvest comes. I believe He is raising up leaders who will not only be ready to answer the call but will be actively pursuing opportunities to serve. Will God move without His church being ready? Will He open the floodgates of revival if there are not leaders equipped to respond? I think not. I'm not the only one who believes God is preparing His church through the building up of leaders. In a recent episode of my Next Level podcast, I had this discussion with Banning Liebscher of Jesus Culture in Sacramento, California. He shared his vision for what is about to come." -- Michael McIntyre

The god the NAR serves actually serves them. Everything revolves around man instead of the Almighty. Thus is it unfathomable that God would decide to do something on His own, regardless of whether we are "ready." The true bride of Christ needs no repositioning because she never moved from His shadow to begin with. Then to offer up Banning Liebscher as some kind of corroboration? With what? Satanic works? Liebscher is the founder of Jesus Culture, one of the most heretical worship outfits today. He is a central fixture at Bethel Church, which is a virtual cesspool of false teaching. He believes in false signs and lying wonders, word faith, and mandatory healing to name a few.

'"I believe the local church should be a leadership-making machine. I believe that they should be developing leaders and sending them into their cities," Liebscher said about his passion for training and equipping the next generation. "The next five years and beyond for us is just saying, 'How do we not only plant churches, but how do we come alongside and strengthen churches, raise up leaders and believe God for revival?'" Throughout history, God has chosen to partner with His creation to bring revival. Would He stop now? He may work in suddenlies, but He's not unprepared. He may be sovereign, but He's not controlling. He's loving and He's passionate. He's steadfast and He's kind. He is preparing the fields for harvest. And because He doesn't move in vain, He is readying His church. For love. For family. For revival.' -- Michael McIntyre

If you believe God is your partner, then it is not God reviving you. This is the unbridled arrogance of the NAR. Jesus once pronounced woes upon the Pharisees for this exact aimless zeal. He lamented that they would travel around to world to make a single convert and when done all they did was make that person twice the son of hell that they were. All of your hype, passion, conferences, leadership equipping things, or whatever else you want to invest yourself in means absolutely nothing if your theology does not match the bible. Michael McIntyre and Banning Liebscher are the kind of people in Matthew 7, standing before Christ saying, "Lord Lord." God is not your partner. He is not your wingman. He is not your buddy. He is your Lord and Savior or else it is a false christ you have bowed down to. He does not work in "suddenlies"; which is another NAR false teaching. Let me close with a short blurb from a different article about Bethel, albeit the satellite in Austin Texas:

"Bethel Austin, Texas, recently returned to live worship services Father's Day weekend as part of its reopening after the coronavirus pandemic. At the six o'clock Saturday evening service, Holy Spirit moved, and no sermon was given." -- Charisma News

If that does not sum up the idiocy of the NAR I do not know what does. The Holy Spirit moved and no sermon was given. Really. Now I have been to such services and I have seen such from Bethel online. That is not the Holy Spirit moving. If it were, it would make sure the word of God was brought forth to His people and to those who may be on the outside of salvation since only the Gospel can save them! This is one of the fundamental errors of the NAR. They elevate personal experiences -- wink wink, the Holy Spirit move -- to the level of scripture. That is because true scripture is a two-edged sword that will cut their heresies into little pieces. Much easier to roll on the ground and let Satan speak to your heart all the things you really want. Then you crawl back to your seat with the "confirmation" you were looking for. Yeah, the Holy Spirit moved and no sermon was given, right.

The Holy Spirit does not comfort us apart from the word. It is the word that has the comfort. The truth He leads us to is found in His word. The bible provides the guardrails to protect the Christian from Michael McIntyre, Banning Liebscher and the rest of the demonically influenced NAR. It is not the job of the Holy Spirit to knock you down, slay you, give you liver shivers or prickly goosebumps. It is not His job to make you bark like a dog or roll around on the ground uncontrollably. Nor is it His job to make you convulse without control. The bible does not promise an end times revival but rather an end times apostasy. THAT we are seeing every day. Places like Bethel Church are on the forefront of leading so many people to hell. People like Liebscher and McIntyre may not even realize it themselves as they seem more deceived than deceiver. The products of too many nights where they mistook demonic movement for the Holy Spirit and of course, no sermon was preached.
