And do not fear those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul. Rather fear him who can destroy both soul and body in hell. -- Matthew 10:28 (ESV)

For the uninitiated, Darren Wilson is a filmmaker specializing in false signs and lying wonders. We have reviewed two of his previous works, Holy Ghost and Holy Ghost 2, Electric Boogaloo. Combined they were a mish mosh of psychic parlor tricks being performed by charlatans across this world on unsuspecting victims. Like when Todd White performed the fake "leg growing" trick on someone at a Korn concert. Or when "healing evangelist" Robbie Dawkins avoided the emergency rooms in Greece to instead seek out someone with a sore shoulder to heal in a park after midnight. Wilson's movies are an affront to God. They lead people away from Christ. More to the point, they lead people to a false Christ:

For if someone comes and proclaims another Jesus than the one we proclaimed, or if you receive a different spirit from the one you received, or if you accept a different gospel from the one you accepted, you put up with it readily enough. -- 2Corinthians 11:4 (ESV)

Now I would remind you, brothers, of the gospel I preached to you, which you received, in which you stand, and by which you are being saved, if you hold fast to the word I preached to you--unless you believed in vain. -- 1Corinthians 15:1-2 (ESV)

"Not everyone who says to me, 'Lord, Lord,' will enter the kingdom of heaven, but the one who does the will of my Father who is in heaven. On that day many will say to me, 'Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name, and cast out demons in your name, and do many mighty works in your name?' And then will I declare to them, 'I never knew you; depart from me, you workers of lawlessness.' -- Matthew 7:21-23 (ESV)

Never lose sight of these truths beloved as we follow the progression of these scriptures. There are false gospels out there that lead people every day to false christs. These false christs present a false salvation. On the day God judges the world there will be millions of people who will stand before Him and say Lord Lord only to discover they had spent their lives believing in vain. The concept of belief is not enough. You must believe in the true Christ through the preaching of the true Gospel and Darren Wilson does not present it. The link above is to his latest "bull session" where he and his merry band of heretics and false healers gather around a table to talk about their false gods shot as if it was a 1980's Dockers commercial. Let us reason again together through this video and see the false christ being sold today.

"I'm packaging a bunch of different stories to make an argument and people have different opinions of how that argument should be presented. Honestly, the biggest critics I have -- it's about this issue. If you just tell then they are going to hell. You refuse to do it on camera. I just look at it like this. To me it seems more effective to present people with the love of God than to present them with the consequences of not following Him." -- Darren Wilson

This is the textbook presentation of sloppy agape preaching. Everything for Wilson and the majority of the purpose driven industrial complex is a false presentation of the love of God. They seek to overwhelm the unbeliever with carnal expressions of love wrapped up in scripture fragments that avoid what God is actually saying. The first word uttered by Jesus in His ministry was not love -- it was repent. The entire bible is a story. It is the story of redemption but Darren Wilson does not dare speak of why we need redeeming. In his theology he seems to believe that John 3:16 only says so God so loved the world. He leaves off the qualifying context that reveals true love:

"For God so loved the world that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life. -- John 3:16 (ESV)

Darren Wilson never addresses that God gave His only Son or that faith in Him is crucial to avoid perishing -- or you know -- hell. The truth is that it is not more effective to preach as he does; it's just easier. It is far easier to never have to speak about the fact that we are hell bound sinners. The presentation of the law without the Gospel is cruelty and will not save anyone but the presentation of the Gospel without the law will do exactly the same. If you merely present a sugar coated Jesus to serve as your blessing dispenser and wing man that is exactly how you end up standing before Jesus and He saying that He never knew you. Make no mistake about it beloved -- what Darren Wilson does is evil.

"How many of us sitting at this table would walk up to someone and say you are going to hell and wash our hands and walk away? None of us. That's insanity." -- Will Hart

This argument, which is the core of this video, is fundamentally absurd. I have never met anyone who would suggest walking up to people and saying you are going to hell and then walking away. That is as useless as what Wilson promotes. The law is necessary beloved. It shows us our sin. It shows us that we are sinners in need of a savior. When accompanied with the Gospel we see the plan of God to provide that savior in His only Son. Grace is useless if you do not understand why you need grace. Look at what Jesus says to the people who say Lord Lord -- away from me you who practice lawlessness! What Hart and Wilson are doing is they are presenting false choice. They are saying it is either tell people they are going to hell or tell people that God loves them. The actual truth is that God loves them enough to not want them to go to hell and that is why He sent Jesus to die for them. That is the Gospel. Not this ephemeral, feel good false love. Next they talk about start talking about the caterers who were serving them food all week while they were filming.

"No one has presented the Gospel to them. Nobody is sitting with them and explaining XY and Z. We are talking to them and finding out who they are. We realize she is not a believer. And after three days of simply being in our presence and overhearing our conversations and seeing the love we present to each other and that we also presented to her- they come to us and say we want what you have. And they get saved last night. It's all of us leading these two amazing women to Jesus and it had nothing to do with hell. We saved her from hell." -- Darren Wilson

Really. YOU saved them from hell? I guess I understand why you feel you do not need Christ since you think you can save people. Let me be very clear Darren. You saved no one. If "hell had nothing to do with it" -- those two women are not saved. You cannot "lead someone to Christ" and leave out the first word of His ministry -- repent. Beloved this right here is the true danger of false doctrine. Darren Wilson and his cohorts presented a false christ to these two unsaved women. A christ that speaks about an abstract concept of worldly love but requires nothing of them but assent. This is how mega churches grow. They convince goats that if they say a three sentence prayer that they are guaranteed an afterlife without having to change. Without having to give up the very sin they are bound to. These two women are just two in a long line of victims sold a false salvation. It is a salvation that will lead them right to hell after standing before Christ and crying Lord Lord.

"She was a spiritist. She believed in speaking with the dead. She's Brazilian. She believed in witchcraft. She loves witchcraft and practices it in her family. She was the pastor of her spiritist church. She nearly broke my hand she was squeezing it so tight as the fire of God fell on her." -- Will Hart

The plot thickens. So Darren Wilson would have us believe that a spiritist pastor who loves practicing witchcraft was saved by overhearing the conversations of four heretics for three days. It sickens me to think about these two lost women who desperately needed to hear that they needed to repent of their witchcraft! This woman practices necromancy and was not told she needed to repent of that either! Read the bible and see how unfavorably God views speaking with the dead and witchcraft. This is not a game. When someone says they are a witch you don't respond with well, God loves you! It is not love to hold someone's hand while they drive off a cliff. What is going on here is Darren Wilson is trying to make a buck and the false god of love is more marketable than the balanced God of love and wrath. Wilson's true audience are not Christians. It is those in the apostate church who have already bought into this false christ and are living out this false salvation.

For the time is coming when people will not endure sound teaching, but having itching ears they will accumulate for themselves teachers to suit their own passions, - 2Timothy 4:3 (ESV)

The apostate church gathers around them teachers like Darren Wilson because his christ says you do not have to repent. His christ says that you can have your sin and eternal life too. So you put your faith in a christ that cannot save you. You believe in vain, which was an interesting word for God to use. Vain has two essential meanings. One is that you believed in something useless. Your belief amounted to nothing. The second meaning however is that you placed your faith in yourself instead of God. Vain is where we get the word vanity. True faith in the true Christ means surrendering yourself to His Lordship. It means you no longer believe in yourself. The false christ of Darren Wilson requires nothing of you. No change. No repentance. Your faith is squarely in yourself. Mercifully the video concludes:

"What has been the main mechanism of control in the earth. Historically it has been fear. I think the fear of the Lord is amazing. It's the awe of God. It's the wonder of God. It's amazing. Like we see in John's life. He fell on his face as a dead man. He was Jesus' best friend so there was that awe, wonder and amazement. I just don't ever see God controlling us in that kind of way. I just don't see that's how He works.:" - Darren Davis

I am always left with such utter amazement when I hear someone who clearly does not understand the bible try to sound profound. So according to Darren Davis and supported fully by Darren Wilson, John fell to his face just because of awe, wonder and amazement. What does the text actually reveal?

Then I turned to see the voice that was speaking to me, and on turning I saw seven golden lampstands, and in the midst of the lampstands one like a son of man, clothed with a long robe and with a golden sash around his chest. The hairs of his head were white, like white wool, like snow. His eyes were like a flame of fire, his feet were like burnished bronze, refined in a furnace, and his voice was like the roar of many waters. In his right hand he held seven stars, from his mouth came a sharp two-edged sword, and his face was like the sun shining in full strength. When I saw him, I fell at his feet as though dead. But he laid his right hand on me, saying, "Fear not, I am the first and the last, and the living one. I died, and behold I am alive forevermore, and I have the keys of Death and Hades. -- Revelation 1: 12-18 (ESV)

Did Jesus say don't be filled with awe, wonder and amazement? No He said, do not fear. The text even says he fell at His feet as a dead man! When Isaiah was in His presence he cried that he had unclean lips. Moses had to wear a veil! I am in awe and wonder in amazement that someone could be so off in reading the reverence of the Apostle John in Revelation. We see however where the disconnect comes from. Davis and Wilson sell you a buddy Jesus not the Lord Jesus. So to them John was the best friend of Jesus and thus he was just in awe of his pal. When Jesus walked the earth with John however He did so also as a man. His hair was not white and His eyes were not as a flame of fire. His voice was not like the roar of many waters. His face did not shine while He was holding seven stars. What am I saying here? That Darren Wilson and Davis have such little regard for God they cannot even see that John fell to the ground as if dead because he was in the presence of Almighty God -- not his "best friend."

Perhaps the saddest commentary made however is here in the closing. They believe that God sending His only Son to die in our place is controlling us with fear. Yet the bible says that the fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom. To say Darren Wilson is unwise would miss the true point. He is dangerous because he sells a false christ producing a false salvation. He holds the actual keys to heaven in his hands in the actual Gospel but instead gives out broken keys to hidden locks and tells his listeners they don't even need to open any doors anyway. That there is nothing to fear from their christ that loves them no matter what. They need to read the key verse today and realize that God will send many to the hell they do not bother warning anyone about. I will do for them the one thing they refuse to do for others. I will tell them the truth.

Repent.
