The bible prophesies in Revelation the state of the world leading up to the second coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. While the date cannot be known, the birth pains can be felt, and one area of Eschatology experts agree on is the establishment of a one world religion. We need to be ever vigilant against the calls for false unity, which are heard nearly every day from the purpose driven industrial complex. To them, a unified church means more suckers to sell their wares to. To Satan however, it means unifying the people of God in something other than His Gospel and we need to make sure that the true remnant stays unified in Christ. The above link is to the most recent call for false unity. So, let us reason together once more and be reminded what we need to be watchful for.

This week, we are in the midst of praying through the 40-day Jewish season of repentance, Teshuvah. The word "Teshuvah" literally means to return to the presence of God. It is a season of introspection and repentance for Christians to come into unity with God, as Jesus prayed in John 17:21. However, as Jesus prayed, unity with God also requires unity with each other in Christ (John 17:20-23). Yet, almost since the beginning of Christianity, believers have quarreled about Christian doctrine and church government. The first Jerusalem Council served as an example of a favorably resolved dispute (Acts 15). However, other disputes resulted in division and treatment of opponents as non-Christians. As Ralph Martin famously said, "The body of Christ is broken." Today there are many denominations and doctrines which create a great diversity within the body of Christ. Yet, we can still be united in Christ. Lutheran theologian Oscar Cullmann said, "Unity in the church ... is unity in diversity ... recognizing others in all their variety as true Christians." -- Ron Allen

Would it surprise you to learn that there is no Christian season called Teshuva? Or that the word actually means to simply repent? When scouring the Jewish calendar, we see no such record of the season of Teshuva. The only Christian referent we could find was to the wildly heretical ministry of Perry Stone. So, the notion that this Jewish word for repentance is secretly a season for Christians to return to the presence of God, be introspective, and come into unity is absolutely made up. The entire thing is a work of fiction. Christians have quarreled since the beginning because God is so clear about being careful to avoid false doctrine. Paul only tells Timothy to guard two things. His life and his doctrine. His doctrine because the eternal lives of his listeners is at stake. Our first key verse is crucial to understanding unity because disunity is sown in the body through the admission of false teaching. Most charlatans point to discernment ministries or people criticizing what is false as the source of disunity but it is their false teaching that divided the body to begin with. The second key verse is crucial to remember that only the Gospel, the true Gospel, has the power of God to save someone. What does that mean preacher? That means without the preaching of the uncompromised Gospel of Jesus Christ, no one gets saved -- period, full stop. I have had well intended people ask me if people can get saved through a heretical ministry such as Joel Osteen's and the answer is no. Not according to the bible anyway. Now, can Osteen force someone to seek the truth and thus get saved by someone else presenting the Gospel? Of course, but that person is saved in spite of Osteen, not because of him.

The first Jerusalem Council in Acts 15 brilliantly shows the damage false doctrine can have as believers were still clinging to the law! I hate to break it to Ron Allen but if any part of the Jerusalem Council had refused the decision, they too would have been treated as non-Christians. The body of Christ is not broken. It is being starved to death by the purpose driven industrial complex and soon will have to come out from among the apostate church, but it is not broken. It cannot be broken because it understands that the third set of key verses above paint the picture for what true Christian unity is all about and it surely is not found in diversity. That is carnal nonsense. You see, in the Galatian Church, the congregants were easily taken in by false doctrine. In the key verses we see Paul astonished that they so quickly abandoned the Christ that saved them for a different gospel. This is critical because we need to understand there are false gospels and false christs that lead people to false conversions. These are the people who stand before Christ in Matthew 7 and say, "Lord Lord." Keep reading these key verses and we see what God Almighty thinks about unity for unity's sake.

I always find it discouraging to see Christians defend the wolves over the sheep. What part of this are they not getting? Let anyone who comes with a different gospel be accursed! You want to sell me the prosperity gospel. Be accursed! You want to tell me I have the power to create with my own words and I am a little god? Be accursed! You want to convince me that your angel feathers, gold dust, gem stones and glory clouds are real? Be accursed! You want to tell me that your school can teach the gifts of the Holy Spirit? Be accursed! I have no time to be unified with Satan! Paul closes this section by pointing out the obvious. By taking the path of greatest resistance, he is clearly not trying to please man. Beloved, if we were trying to please man and not God, then we would hold hands with the doctrinal devils and sing Kumbaya until Jesus comes and says He never knew any of us. As a servant of Christ, heaven forbid.

"Pope Francis has said, "Unity brought by the Spirit can harmonize every diversity." Unity in diversity recognizes the contributions of other streams of Christianity and blends them together in a symphony of harmony. It is a unity of the Spirit, not in doctrine or church government. During the second 10 days of Teshuvah, from Sept. 9 to Sept. 18, we will be praying for God's people and the healing of the broken body of Christ as God's people come together, united in Christ." -- Ron Allen

Really. Pope Francis. This is where the road to the ecumenical end times church begins beloved. With Rome and the apostate church seeking unity. This will lead to the one world religion prophesied about in Revelation. Consider how frighteningly wrong this statement is:

It is a unity of the Spirit, not in doctrine

There is no unity of the spirit without unity of doctrine! The spirit is God and God is His word! Consider the final set of key verses above that speak directly to what we are supposed to be unified in. standing firm in one spirit, with one mind, striving side by side for the faith of the Gospel. Did we catch that today? For the faith of the Gospel. It is the Gospel that produces a unified body of Christ. Wolves do not deserve prayer, fellowship or even consideration. They do not deserve our unity but rather, the working end of the shepherd's rod. Ron Allen now lists the upcoming schedule for his fake Teshuva with accompanying scriptures. Let us see what the bible actually says:

Sept. 9: The blessings of unity (Ps. 133).

Sept. 10: Unity in Christ (John 17:20--22).

Sept. 11: Accepting our brothers (Rom. 15:5--7).

Sept. 12: Do not judge (Rom. 14:13; Luke 6:37--38).

Sept. 13: Divisions (1 Cor. 3:1--9).

Sept. 14: Evangelism through unity (John 17:23).

Sept. 15: Watchmen warnings (Ezek. 33).

Sept. 16: Appealing to all (1 Cor. 9:27).

Sept. 17: Salvation for Israel (Rom. 11:11--32).

Sept. 18: Messianic Jews and the Toward.

Psalm 133 reminds us how good and pleasant it is when brothers dwell in unity. Remember though, no one is arguing that the true body of Christ should not be unified but that unity must be rooted in doctrine. Here is what John 17 says:

"I do not ask for these only, but also for those who will believe in me through their word, that they may all be one, just as you, Father, are in me, and I in you, that they also may be in us, so that the world may believe that you have sent me. -- John 17:20-21 (ESV)

The expression "those who believe in their word" refers to people who will come to Christ through the preaching of the Gospel! Romans 15 speaks about glorifying God in one voice but that voice must be consistent with His Gospel! The Mormons think they glorify God but we do not unify with them. The scriptures from 1Corinthians 3 perfectly illustrates what we have been saying. Paul was admonishing the Corinthians for following men, such as Apollos and Paul instead of Christ. Paul corrected the doctrine first then enjoyed the unity of the brethren. The John verse does show evangelism but remember the woes spoken over the Pharisees. They traveled the whole earth for a single convert yet made them twice the son of hell that they were. The reference to watchmen on the wall is hysterical as we will soon find out that the people involved in this call for unity are the very ones we need to be watchful of.

"Jerusalem Council II movement (Acts 15). The unity revival has already begun. In 2014, the pope sent a historic video to Kenneth Copeland. The pope's outreach to Kenneth Copeland produced a flood of Christian leaders who traveled to Rome for international reconciliation meetings. There has also been a strong movement for unity among American church leaders. However, the unity movement has not yet reached many of our cities and local churches. The urgent need to heal the body of Christ must be communicated from the national leadership of movements and denominations to the local churches. The city fathers must become champions of unity, bringing the body of Christ together to impact their communities. The prayer of Jesus in John 17 is not only about unity. It is for unity with a purpose, "That the world may believe" (John 17:21b). Unity is the key to transformation. Kenneth Copeland and Lou Engle are hosting a false unity conference that includes many Roman Catholic representatives, including an Arch-Bishop. Please do not dismiss this beloved. look at their stated goals. They recognize that this ecumenical garbage has not yet gone mainstream. The pre-text is that the church needs healing because of all of these trivial differences. Let us not be confused. The differences between myself and Kenneth Copeland are not negotiable. The man claims to have made a billion dollars from fleecing the flock of God. His gospel of word faith, prosperity and demonic weather control is anathema and let him be accursed for it! Lou Engle and his false prophecies as well. Beloved, the only way we ever get to a one world religion is through the joining of the protestant and Catholic denominations. The language used by Ron Allen, Kenneth Copeland, Lou Engle and the Pope are the exact blueprint of Satan for accomplishing this prophesied event. Keep your eyes open in these end days. The Assemblies of God are holding hands with Bethel Church now and Copeland and Engle are friends of Bethel. We will see more and more of these types of "unifying" events as the days grow darker. Teachers we thought were solid will start falling by the wayside and we are to leave them right there. Onward Christian soldiers in true unity that can only be accomplished through the supernatural work of the uncompromised Gospel of Jesus Christ.
