You see, we are not like the many hucksters who preach for personal profit. We preach the word of God with sincerity and with Christ's authority, knowing that God is watching us. - 2Corinthians 2:17 (NLT)

When I hear criticisms for tearing people down through discernment I often reflect to the people in question. Why do so many inherently want to protect overt wolves? Can't they see the damage they cause to the body of Christ and the cause of the gospel? I reflect to the scriptures, like the key verse for today where we see Paul teaching the Corinthian believers about these charlatans. They are like hucksters who preach for personal profit. They are insincere in doing so. That means they know full well what they are doing! They act without any authority from Christ and could obviously care less that God is watching! The only thing that matters is the next grift. Promoting the next scheme to take your money at the cost of your faith. Bethel Church is a master grifting agency and Kris Vallotton is one of their primary grifters. We reported awhile back on his latest grift, the "solutionary" class and the concept of "spiritual intelligence." Vallotton is investing a lot in this scam so he is back to resell it to me, as I am on his email list. Let us reason together once more through this email remembering that the sole purpose of it is to separate me from my money.

"Hi Anthony, Have you ever considered the amount of faith needed to birth some of the greatest catalytic inventions and most commemorated innovations of all time? Electricity, airplanes, and the internet to name a few. Or maybe you've thought of how it felt in that auspicious moment when the first airplane took off with success or when electricity became a modern necessity; the sigh of relief and the breath of reprieve that met the scientists, thought leaders, and history makers after they had taken courageous steps into the unseen. I'd propose that spiritual intelligence is of the very essence of taking heroic steps into the unknown. Yet, it is composed of eternal elements " it transcends memory, is beyond mere information, and exceeds academia.

Spiritual intelligence is not just knowing, it is becoming, it is transforming, and it is a force for change that is working on us from the inside out." - Kris Vallotton

Uh-huh. It is odd that God never mentions the concept of spiritual intelligence anywhere in His word. I hate to drag theology into this fanciful conversation but exactly how does someone who is not saved even have "spiritual intelligence?" Doesn't the spirit have something to do with it? Now, the Wright Brothers were very religious but Einstein was an admitted agnostic and somehow I doubt the creators of the Internet much more beyond agnostic as well. I digress because the entire premise is simply ludicrous. This is just Vallotton trying to mystify the evil musings of his wickedly deceitful heart. The reason why he has to "propose" this nonsense is it doesn't exist anywhere else! This is the foundation of the grift. Vallotton has introduced a concept that cannot be verified through the bible and is pawning it off as having something to do with God and something that you and I should be seeking to attain. This is the lure. Who wouldn't want to control power that transcends memory, information and academia?

"Spiritual intelligence is not just inspired ideas, creative thoughts, or ingenious inventions. Now, let me be clear, it is all of these things, but what makes spiritual intelligence life-changing, is that it is always ignited through relationship between God and His people. The truth is as Believers we have a divine advantage - we are sanctified solutionaries with access to the thoughts of God by the power of the Holy Spirit. Consider Paul's teaching in 1 Corinthians: "But a natural man does not accept the things of the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness to him; and he cannot understand them, because they are spiritually appraised. But he who is spiritual appraises all things, yet he himself is appraised by no one. For who has known the mind of the Lord, that he will instruct Him? But we have the mind of Christ." We have access to a level of wisdom that is inaccessible to those who don't know God." - Kris Vallotton

Wait, how can it always be ignited through a relationship between God and His people when you already offered up non-believers' fantastic inventions as examples? With the lure cast, Kris is now wiggling it on the top of the water for us. He is upping the ante. It is not just inspired, creative and ingenious but we have an advantage over everyone else! Why? We are sanctified solutionaries! You don't know what that is? It's in the bible right next to spiritual intelligence, which is to say it is not actually in the bible. Just another made up deceitful nugget from Kris' heart. The ironic thing of course is that we do have access to the thoughts of God but only in scripture. The spirit leads us into all truth, in scripture. It is because of the truths he references in Corinthians that we can properly discern what he is saying as false. It is because of the key verse that we can properly discern Kris Vallotton as a huckster.

"However, how you access this level of wisdom is through the power of Christ-centered faith. Everything in the spirit realm works by the law of faith. Whether someone is working from the dark side (the second heaven) or from God's spirit (the third heaven). Faith is the foundational element of everything in the spirit world. In Hebrews, it says: "Now faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen." Hebrews 11:1. Faith is the way that things transfigure from spiritual, ethereal hypothesis into tangible form. Faith is the foundation of spiritual intelligence. You have more than likely heard the idiom, "That guy is so heavenly-minded that he is no earthly good." The only reason this is true is that some spiritual people are dreamers with no faith " it requires faith to actualize dreams, and visions to overcome visible obstacles." - Kris Vallotton
