Without self-control, brutal, and despiser of good? How about Greg Locke calling his sheep witches and demons? How about him lecturing about morality while he pastors alongside his adulteress? How about Locke and Mario Murillo stating that anyone who does not vote the way they do is going to hell and Jesus cannot save them. Perhaps the most important item listed here is the final one. The apostate church has a form of godliness but denies its power. All of those mentioned here and those unmentioned all do the Jesus two step. I remember Swaggart crying that he had sinned and then was busted with another prostitute. I remember Francis Chan telling us how much he loved Mike Bickle. Don't hear much from Chan on Bickle these days. I remember Creflo Dollar telling us he needed the 65 million dollar Learjet in order to "spread the gospel." Jesus is certainly mentioned but only as a prop. These people and stories I fear are viewed as outliers when they represent what the church has become. I will close with the admonition from the key verses:
From such people - turn away!
