Introducing Charisma News Latest NAR Dominionist Shill Bunni Pounds

Also, in this paragraph we see the false partnership paradigm. In another article Pounds declares that God is longing to partner with us. No, He isn't. God is the creator and we are but the created. It is only the arrogance of man expressed in the apostate church that can declare that God wants to "partner" with us. God is not our equal. He is not our wing man. If God is not your Lord and Master than He is nothing to you. It is always reassuring when false teachers use scripture as it is often those very scriptures that prove them false. I have made Acts 1:6-8 the key verses for today because God wants to show us how wrong Pounds is. Bunni correctly says that God tells us that we will be His witnesses to the ends of the earth. What she leaves out however, is the context. You see, in Verse Six, the disciples ask Jesus if He will now restore the Kingdom of Israel. They had always hoped for a solution to their carnal and political problems, where they were under harsh persecution from the Roman government. Remotely similar today, the apostate church feels persecuted by the evil leftists and want their deliverance. Jesus' kingdom however, is not of this world. Jesus dismisses their carnal concerns out of hand and instead tells them they will be His witnesses around the world to share the gospel. He does not say they will be His political advocates. He does not say they will be His moral majority. He does not say they will be His legislators or judge pickers. He does not say they will be His revivalists. He does not say they will be His mountain conquering cultural warriors. He says NONE of that. You will be my witnesses! What does a witness do? He gives testimony. He does not pass laws. He does not seek political office. He does not pick carnal sides or the lesser of two evils. So please, be a witness - not a political activist like Bunni.

"This timeless promise echoes through the ages, reaching modern-day disciples. The power of the Holy Spirit remains available to those who follow Jesus. Attempting to change the world through politics or government without relying on His wisdom and strength is futile. True impact comes from individuals transformed by His truth and wisdom, not from political endeavors alone. God's promise, "I am with you always, even to the end of the age" (Matt. 28:20), resonates in the hearts of believers engaged in the political sphere. The call to discipleship extends to every corner of society, from local councils to school boards, state houses, and even the heart of political power"Washington, DC." - Bunni Pounds

Notice the clever sleight of hand Pounds uses here. The power of the Holy Spirit is indeed available for all believers today but it most decidedly NOT so we can change the world through politics or government. That is NAR dominionist theology. God did not ask us to disciple local school boards beloved. Bunni Pounds still idolizes this country and that much is woefully apparent. According to the bible we are pilgrims and sojourners traveling through this world to our true home, where we have biblical citizenship - heaven. God does NOT allow dual citizenship. Just read the first commandment. Yet this blueprint Bunni lays out is the heart of so many theologies across this country. To conquer the imaginary seven cultural mountains through stealth and hostile takeover, according to Lance Wallnau. I recently used the example of the Temperance Movement to show how futile these culture wars are. The Temperance Movement were sure they were doing God's work. So did the slave owning south and those in charge of the Spanish Inquisition and the Salem Witch Trials, by the way. Temperance sought the abolition of alcohol and they eventually caught the car they were chasing. The result was the development of organized crime in America as people who wanted to sin, were still going to sin. You cannot legislate morality. We are not called to change society but to save those lost from it.

"In recognizing that God loves the nation's people more than they do, disciples engaged in politics understand the profound impact of discipleship on individual lives. The transformation of hearts and minds can ripple through organizations and government systems, shaping the nation's trajectory. The responsibility to effect change lies not only in the seats of power but in the hands of those committed to discipleship, understanding that the nation's well-being hinges on the collective commitment to impactful leadership and active participation in government." - Bunni Pounds

Yeah. No. Again, Pounds tries her level best to sound pious but at the end of the day these are tired old NAR talking points. Discipleship has NOTHING to do with governments or nations. Ther NAR argument being made here is if we can infiltrate the government and seats of power with people who share our beliefs then we will see transformative change in our country. Except we won't because the people being used are still carnal creatures who sin just like everyone else. Dennis Hastert won the Illinois evangelical vote year after year until it was discovered he liked molesting little boys. Larry Craig was a Republican Senator and prize of the evangelical world until he was caught soliciting homosexual sex in an airport bathroom. Too old of cases? Currently there is a Florida representative who is also a pastor and makes her church pay for her seven homes while lying about them on her financial disclosure forms. Just look at the standard bearer of evangelical politics. Donald Trump is facing 91 felony counts! In a recent poll of Iowa evangelicals, a majority said he would be ok to be president from jail or even if he committed insurrection, which is treason!

No beloved, what Pounds and the NAR want is pious laws that will force sin into the closet so they can pretend there is revival. They want this because they like this country and the sin excess it allows. They idolize it. They want to save it. Not the people mind you, just the country. That is not what Jesus has commissioned us to do. Please do not fall for the latest messenger of the same old tired lies. Voting is about more than two wedge issues. God cares about war. He cares about the annihilation of people He created. He cares about poverty - just read the gospels! He cares about taking care of the least in society. Take all considerations with you into the voting booth - or don't vote. While it is a civic responsibility - we belong to another. Jesus is not waiting for you with a voting log in one hand and an AR-15 in the other. As for Bunni Pounds? Mark and avoid beloved. Mark and avoid.
