No Max, just no. it is not about them. It is not about their unique gifts, abilities or assignment. There is nothing remarkable about them at all. It is about their Savior. It is about His uniqueness and what He has already done for all mankind. They do not need to discern their role because every minister has the exact same role -- to present the Gospel. Now, many will have different styles but the message cannot change. Do you recall that time when The Apostle Paul was wrestling with his gifts and trying to discern the role God had for him? Yeah, me neither. Because for Paul it was always about God -- never about him. No pastor is called to be a visionary leader. You know why? We already have one. It is a shame that Max Lucado seems to have forgotten this. The Purpose Driven Plague has claimed another victim. Say it ain't so Max. Say it ain't so.

Reverend Anthony Wade -- December 19, 2016
