"With Elon Musk's purchase of Twitter, conservatives worldwide rejoiced. But the battle for free speech is far from over. Just as the overturning of Roe v. Wade did not settle the abortion debate, and in fact it shook the hornet's nest of activists to push for more abortion on demand across the nation, having one social media outlet become owned by a proponent of free speech will not end censorship. Christians must gird themselves for the fight against censorship. Just as the underground church in China proved, the gospel doesn't need a digital outlet to spread the message of Jesus, it needs willing vessels to preach the Word from their mouths. When people are willing to do that in spite of the consequences, God will handle the rest." - Charisma News
This is so wrong. To compare Greg Locke to the underground church in China is just reprehensible. In China, you cannot actually preach the gospel. You cannot be caught with the written word of God. Greg Locke believes in a world without guidelines, after all he is part of a false church that believes that. The gospel however is not about who you can yell at. Who you can claim is demon possessed. Who you can assign to hell based on voting patterns that disagree with yours. It is not about book burning, flag waving, or whatever nonsense Greg Locke spews this week. If you think any of this is the message of Jesus Christ then I suggest you start over. Maybe start with the key verses, where we find the Apostle Paul in Asia and how he dealt with people who refused to listen to his preaching. Did he call them names? No. Did he say they were all demon possessed? No. Did he spread lies about them? No. He withdrew from them and preached elsewhere. Because of this he continued for two more years in that area and all heard the word of the Lord. You know, the gospel.
