It is time this nonsense stopped. Who gave us Roe Vs. Wade Mr. Farias? A 7-2 decision from a Republican Supreme Court. Who reaffirmed it decades later? A different Republican Supreme Court. In the late 1990's the Republican Party was all about morality and how it was unconscionable that a president would engage in sexual activities in the Oval Office with an intern and it was. The loudest Republican leaders at the time were Newt Gingrich, Bob Livingston and Denny Hastert. Fast forward ten years and we now know that while they were screaming morality Gingrich and Livingston were having extra-martial affairs and Hastert was a serial child molester. No one party has the edge over the other with sexual perversion.
The more disturbing part is how you have co-opted our Lord and Savior to fit your warped NAR theology. Jesus is not holding America in place for anything, let alone your made-up silliness about antichrist conspiracies. He has not developed, called or empowered this nation Bert. You know how I know that Bert? Because none of what you are saying is in the bible! In order for Christ to have developed this nation then he would have endorsed and planned the genocide of the indigenous people we annihilated. In order for Him to have called this nation He would have had to have done so under the shame and shadow of slavery, through the sweatshops where kids worked 20 hours a day and through the imperialistic take over and wanton destruction of countless other nations.
The scariest proposition you put forth however you saved for last. You actually believe that any Christian who refuses to lock step to your political drivel is lining up to fight with Jesus! So according to Bert Farias if you do not vote Republican then you are an enemy of Jesus Christ. Wow. Bert, and please take me seriously, go seek professional help. Seriously, you need like a team working on your dementia. Beloved, if you want to vote Republican -- knock yourself out. If you want to vote Democrat -- knock yourself out. If you want to abstain from voting -- knock yourself out. These are carnal decisions and have zero eternal consequence. When you stand before Christ you will answer for your life but not for your voting record I assure you. Bert Farias is part of the dominionist NAR that believe the church has to take over the world, starting with this country. He bemoans divisiveness but fails to see how he is the source. With 2020 around the corner we need to be prepared for Satan to come and finish the job he started in 2016. He merely divided the church then. Now he is coming to finish it off. When Jesus walked the earth He was apolitical because His kingdom is not of this earth as today's key verse reminds us. His disciples wanted deliverance from Rome just as much as Bert Farias wants deliverance from the Democratic Party. Both Bert and the disciples failed to realize that Christ came to deliver us from so much more. Sin and the oppression of the enemy. That's the Gospel Bert. You remember the Gospel, don't you? Stop rearranging the deck chairs on the Titanic Bert. Get back to pointing people to the lifeboat. Time is running out and your 15 minutes are up.
