To take this verse and pretend it means Christians are commanded to take over the seven cultural mountains is an assault to scripture. The reason why it is uncommon to find a CEO living life for Jesus is not because of the fear of riches from Christians but rather the sense of independence and being self-made from the rich. Jesus Himself once lamented how hard it would be for a rich man to enter the kingdom of heaven. I sometimes want to scream at these dominionist NAR folks -- READ THE BIBLE! The bible says very clearly that this world is passing away. We need to understand what is going on spiritually. These people are reprobates. They are not saved and pursue this world because they love this world. They try to drag the church into relevance with this world and we should want nothing to do with the likes of Bill Johnson, Mike Bickle, Michael Brown, and the entire lot of them. Jesus does not need our help with anything; let alone taking over the seven mountains of Satan's culture. Schmidt concludes:
"It is time to call out and manifest the DNA that God has placed in believers, the DNA of kingship. it's time for kings, or kings-to-be, to receive blueprints, strategies from heaven, and take up the high call of heaven-mandated disruption, to remove the "high places" and implement God's plans in the world. In Vision 3, the calculators in the dark represent tapping into hidden riches (Isa. 45) and diverting wealth into the kingdom from the world. Finally, in Vision 3, the kings heading up to the temple represent a healing of the unspoken, longstanding divide between kings and priests. First, kings or successful Christian leaders in world positions are scarce. Second, the priests have not been able to shepherd the kings. Many Christian business or political leaders have trouble connecting with church leaders, who generally have little or no experience in the world. Those who have success or wealth have endured so much religious condemnation or witnessed poor church financial stewardship that they don't trust church leadership anymore. Kings and priests have to come together. The divide has to heal. The time is coming for kings to return to the temple, to the place of worship. In order for the glory to fill the temple as described in 2 Chronicles 7:3, the kings must be submitted to God and be united and aligned with the priests. We are, after all, a nation of kings and priests." -- Way-Yee Schimdt
Beloved, God has given us a blueprint filled with His strategies. It is called the bible. The point Way-Yee Schmodt and the NAR keep missing is that in order for absurd prophecies like this to be true then God muts be a liar. When He warned to not add to the bible He must have been lying. Or maybe He just forgot to tell us this stuff about taking over mountains, making Christian movies, believers should own real estate, that we have the DNA of kings, and of course caculators in the dark secretly moving money from the world into the kigdom. When God realize he forgot to tell us these things in the bible, He reached out immediuately to Way-Yee Schmidt.
Except He really didn't now did He? God is not a man that He would forget beloved for milennia only to let someone in on the secret who believes that how the Dow Jones closes equals a message straight from heaven. Yet this is theater of the absurd the modern charismatic church has become in these last days. Every day a new shiny object to lead people away from the Word of God. Sneaky squids, wealth transfers and caluclators in the dark. Oh my!
Oh my indeed.
