This smells oddly like the word faith heresy so maybe Jennifer is expanding her borders but the truth is that what we think and do will have an effect on our actions. Our words reinforce but of course do not create the reality that true word-faithers teach. The sad irony here is Jennifer cannot see how it is things like her false prophecies about mega months and cephalopod spirits that drive people away from Christ because God never said such absurdity. Jennifer concludes:
4) Dream wild. Imagine the possibilities of what God could do. Luke 1:37 tells us, "Nothing is impossible with God." And Ephesians 3:20 says, "Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly beyond all that we ask or imagine, according to the power that works in us." -- Jennifer Leclaire
Sigh. This has been such a horrific slew of contorted Scripture that we may as well end with two more. Nothing is impossible with God is from the foretelling of the virgin birth and the pregnancy of the formerly barren Elizabeth. Yes, I am sure God included this vital passage in the story of the birth of our Savior so that Jennifer Leclaire could promise over two thousand years later that May means mega. Ugh again. The Ephesians verse shows that not only can Jennifer Leclaire not handle the Word correctly but there may be a comprehension problem as well. The verse she quotes explains the condition for God doing exceedingly abundantly beyond what we can ask or imagine and it has nothing to do with dreaming wild. It is due according to the power of God within us. This dream wild and imagine the possibilities angle are another core teaching within the NAR false signs and lying wonders church. The typical response when someone holds up a Bible to their wild claims is -- God could! You say that God manifested signs of gold dust, gemstones, angel feathers and glory clouds? My Bible doesn't seem to teach any of that? God could man! Don't put God in a box!
Except God put Himself in the box known as Scripture beloved. He did so because He knows how wickedly deceitful our hearts are. He knows that unchecked we would invent things from holy laughter to sneaky squid spirits. From angels of abundant harvest to mega-May. It is time for the body of Christ to start maturing beyond such inane babble. Actually, it is time for the church to mega-mature beyond such mega-babble.
Either that or watch out for that mega-squid.
