"Whoa whoa, whoa, this is a perfect example of the Joseph Goebbels school of journalism, all I simply said was Jesus wept over His people and their peace is hidden from them. Rolling Stone twists that as if I was saying the massacre stemmed from, was caused by, the Israelis. That they were to blame. Now the video we put out strongly defends Israel and condemns anyone who tries to blame Israel in any way. But it gets worse, the article says that I said quote, "stemming from the Israeli's stubborn refusal"to accept Jesus. I never used the word stubborn or even alluded to any such thing. So why did Tim Dickenson use the word stubborn? Because stubborn is used in attacks by antisemitic people, as in stubborn Jews." - Jonathan Cahn
Now, read this snippet and go back and read the video language from Cahn. What do we see? Rolling Stone correctly quotes him and for that they are now akin to the nazis? Also, Cahn does not need to use the word stubborn for someone to conclude that the Jewish people, who not only refused to accept Christ but called for His crucifixion, may have had an element of stubbornness. Cahn does this throughout his video. He selects words and assumes nefarious reasons why the writer uses them instead of just realizing that the usage is on point. Cahn continues:
"Messianic Jews like Cahn uphold Jewish traditions, but tout Jesus as their savior."- Rolling Stone
"Why would you use tout? Well tout means to attempt to sell something by pestering people in an aggressive manner. So now we are speaking about Jewish people who think like much of the world believes that Yeshua is the Jewish Messiah. He accuses them of selling something. - Jonathan Cahn
I understand that Jonathan may not be able to see it but again, Rolling Stone is correct. Cahn does nothing but pester people! That is his shtick, and I use that word strictly from my exposure to americana, not from Yiddish tradition. Notice what else he does here, and it recurs throughout his video. He takes a criticism Rolling Stone levels against him and tries to pretend they are saying it about you. Then Cahn goes on another "woke left" dominionist rant that includes a screen shot from the Daily Record that has the headline "Teen girl who identifies as cat allowed to act like a feline in school." While showing this headline he says:
"If a child says they identify as a cat we should give them some Purina cat chow but when it comes to Christians or Jewish people who have accepted Christ tolerance goes out the window and you can denigrate their faith. And because they are Jewish, that sounds racist to me." - Jonathan Cahn
Ok, first of all, the story reported in that article and championed by the crazies on the far right and the apostate church is factually untrue and absurd. There was no child identifying as a cat who was allowed to act as such in school. This fake story was in England by the way. Look again at the insidious way he turns a fake news story into an accusation that Rolling Stone is denigrating your faith. They have done no such thing! Cahn knows this but again his purpose is to advance the NAR dominionist cause by bearing false witness against someone who he feels attacked him by correctly quoting him. He continues citing from the article:
"Far from a lonely internet crank, Cahn is "the most prominent messianic Jew in America," religion scholar Matthew Taylor tells Rolling Stone. Cahn has gained notoriety as an end time prophet. Cahn has surprising mainstream cred, writing a series of NY Times Best Selling books." - Rolling Stone
